I’ve been using mine regularly for a few weeks and it’s barely halfway down.Tips for best results (based on what’s worked for me):Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each use to avoid smoking and uneven burning.Let the wax melt all the way across the top before blowing it out—this helps prevent tunneling and makes the candle last longer.Keep it away from drafts so it burns evenly.This would make a perfect gift for Mother’s Day, Christmas, or just as a little treat for yourself. The Lavender and Lemon candle is a lovely scent. This was very good value as I bought it when it was on offer. Yankee candles seem to last for ages and most have a good aroma which lasts, although some are stronger than others. I’ve used them for years and will continue to do so. They come well packaged, I will buy again.

I expected more of a lavender smell but it still smells nice

Yankee have a great reputation as a quality candle maker with products that burn a long time. This candle is no exception, it has been burning now for 6 hours a day over the week and has lots of wax left in it. The scent is as described, a really clean and fresh newly laundered towels smell which I think is great for my modern house and is certainly more pleasant than kitchen odours. Well worth a try if you want a clean neutral scent in the house and need something to last more than a few hours.
