Good paper.
As you would expect from one of the biggest names in photography, this paper is very good for printing photos. The contrast and colour rendition is very good, and although it's not the cheapest paper it is good value for money.

Great quality
Having had some really poor experiences ordering discounted Canon photo paper from third party sellers, I gave up and paid the full retail amount through Amazon. Even paying their non-discount rate as of June 2012, this 20-sheet box of paper gives prints at less than 34 pence each. This has actually fallen by about 3p per print over the two years I've been using Canon papers. This specific paper - PP201 - is sized at 130x180mm, or 5x7". It's a bit bigger than the rather measly standard snapshot size that you'd have at one time got back from a high street film developers. It has a highly glossy finish, and is quite nicely weighted at 260g/m^2. Canon give it a 5 star rating but don't really explain what that means. It is ChromaLife100 compatible, and the recommendation is that you leave prints to fully dry for 24hrs once printed. Canon claim that ChromaLife papers and inks will not fade for decades... I'll edit this review to confirm in about 50 years.I use the paper with a PIXMA iP4700 printer and Canon inks, and I am consistently pleased with the results. For most Canon printers the ICC profile you would select for this specific paper is one of GL1, GL2, or GL3 (with 1 being the highest quality print, 3 the lowest). For showing off great photos I use Canon's A4 sized Pro II paper, but for providing prints to friends and family and making triptychs, the 5x7" Pro Glossy II is ideal. Very pleased with this product and I certainly won't go cheaper!
