Creativity for Kids Sensory Bin: Axolotl | Hands-On Activity with Wiggly Foam, Figures & Tools | Encourages Fine Motor Skills, Creativity & Calm (Ages 3+)

As an adult autistic woman, I often buy these types of bins as a way to help myself stay regulated and in the present. This one (Ice Cream Shop) has been one of the better ones. The sand came soft and not all dried out, there was enough of it, and the pieces are quite sturdy plastic and show no signs of breaking. I've been mixing bits of colors and am considering adding some beads, marine molds, and maybe some small resin animals. It's ashame it will all end up a dark purple in the end, but I got it for $13 so I certainly can't complain! My one complaint is the edges of the bin dig into my arms if I rest them on it. It's the least comfortable bin to use that I've bought so far, but I wouldn't deduct any stars for that. Definitely recommend for kids and playful adults!

This is a great sensory bin, my grandkids young and older all play in this so much in fact I purchased a second one! The texture and play of the sand keeps the kids occupied for quite a while. Great value for everything!

An absolutely great product for those kiddos who love interactive sensory bins! Sand hamt dried out and the bin is secure. Is definitely fun and can keep my kids occupied for enough time for me to get housework done. Definitely helps with those fine motor skills. And are super cute!

My 5-year-old absolutely loves this sensory bin! The ice cream molds are such a fun touch and keep her entertained for so long. She loves scooping, molding, and pretending she’s running her own little ice cream shop. It’s great for imaginative play, keeps her busy, and is a fun hands-on activity that she asks to play with again and again. Definitely a great purchase for little ones! I have purchased this several times as gifts for other little friends.

I think it’s a good price for what you get, but it’s not enough sand. I added a bag of blue sand we already had around the house and it made it the perfect amount. The little orange tube got broken within the first day but I have a very rough toddler. Overall, I’m happy with it

I bought this set for my daughter to help with sensory play. She has some sensory sensitivities and has always been afraid to touch sand, so her OT would sometimes use a container with toys in it to encourage her to gradually get more comfortable with the texture. I wanted something we could easily use at home in a more contained and clean way, so I got this set and I’m very happy with it. She enjoys playing with the little trucks and toys, and she has actually started touching the sand more! I think it’s a great set for sensory play and developmental activities, especially for kids who are still getting used to different textures.

GREAT activity for toddlers! This is something I will get out when I need some time to cook, clean, space, etc. It's great for imaginative play, fine motor skills, and for sensory seeking kids. I love that it already comes in its own container for easy clean up (as long as your kids keep it in the container, unlike mine). You can quickly clean it up by just placing the lid back on it and putting it away. There are small pieces in this sensory bin (rocks and pom-poms). I do have a 2 year old that still likes to put stuff in her mouth so if you have younger kids please do keep an eye on them as they play with it. Overall, it's perfect and convenient to store. I purchased several others as well in different themes.

Trying to find activities for my son this winter has been difficult! Our favorite right now is playing Ice Cream Shop! He is 2 and this has been so good for him to get some creativity out. He and his cousin love playing with this. (I sold my sister on sensory sets for her daughter also) This box comes with vibrant colors. It is so cute and how can you beat an activity that is reusable but so affordable! It is a rather big box of sand, colored puffs and it comes with a few accessories as well! My son absolutely loves it and it keeps his attention way longer than balance beams, toy cars, etc. SO FUN, a must have!

It’s a fantastic item, which is so easy to store and take around other houses if visiting. Everything you need is in the box and it keeps the kids busy for ages and develops vital skills.

My 2 year old loves this dino sand dig toy. He digs for dinos and treasures in the sand with the tools. The box keeps sand inside—no big spills. Easy clean: wipe and rinse. He plays for hours, happy and learning, no TV needed.
