After purchasing these straps I have taken them on local and international trips. They have helped protect my luggage and actually make it so much easier to find in some of the crazy airports I end up in.

We went on a two week tour of Scotland. We had 4 of these and one broke at the buckle rendering it useless. We now have 3. Not sure if it can be repaired or replaced.

First off, great bright green color, seem sturdy and the plastic parts are fairly thick, good overall quality.There are pros and seemingly cons to these.I just bought my first piece of hard side luggage and read these help prolong the bags life. I wanted to use these to help hold the bag together and use them as an easy marker, since my luggage is a generic color.I just came back from my first trip where I had a ~2hr direct flights each way. I used 2 straps horizontally, if the bag were upright. This bag has a built-in TSA approved lock that I did NOT use. Upon getting my bag in my destination city, one strap was completely missing. And it was obvious my bag had been opened/searched. While it’s possible, I highly doubt the strap broke. I think it’s more likely that whomever opened it couldn’t get it back on and instead of adjusting it a bit, they just didn’t put it back on.On the return trip I put the strap on the same way, but in the middle and looped it through the handle, again not using the lock. It arrived with the strap on, but it was obvious my bag had been opened again. It was suggested that perhaps my bag got searched both times simply because it had the strap/s.I’m not hiding anything in my luggage, but it is a bit annoying when it’s clear someone has gone through/messed up my carefully packed items.I’m going to keep using them, thee straps themselves work well. just be aware you may have a higher chance of being searched and having your personal items gone through.

These straps securely attached to my luggage. Lock work as designed. Made it through 4 flights and 2 ship transfers without any damage or failures. Used one vertically and one horizontally.

Good quality for price. Great for extra security.
