Ok I have bought this set over and over for years. The base coat is quick drying. You can put the topcoat on while the nail color is still a little tacky, and it dries it quicker. The topcoat is durable and makes your nail color last longer. It makes any normal nail polish look like gel/professional. You still need to take precautions such as washing dishes with gloves on etc. The nail polish set last about a year and a half (maybe two years if you don’t use it regularly)before it gets too tacky to use anymore and you need to buy a new set at that point. Good luck. I highly recommend.

Strong smell like other reviews mentioned but I do love how quick it dries the nails and gives them a nice super shine. I have majorly ridged nails and when using the base, nail color (I use Essie Gel color and Essie Gel Top Coat) then the Seche Top Coat - they are hard nails - no ridges and look great. Can't beat the price too!

This product has been the only one, so far, to make my nail polish last 2 weeks, with no chipping! I applied as directed. HOWEVER, I have reapplied the top coat TWICE. The 1st time was a few days after I did my nails and I used a Brillo pad to wash some pans. It took the shine off the top coat, making them look dull. So I reapplied the top coat and they looked good again. Later about a week and half later, after much cleaning and washing, I reapplied the top coat again to help prevent chipping and it's worked so far. The picture I posted shows how much my nails have grown, but no chipping of the nail polish. I'm going to let them go to see how far it last before I redo my nails.Caution: After reading the warning label, I wore a mask when applying. It is a very strong smell. Be careful.

Very easy to apply long lasting stays hard.as expected

This set is awesome. I love that it dries in a few minutes flat, and you can even use the top coat over wet polish. I painted on a second top coat after a few days, and my manicure is still going strong after a week. I'm relatively tough on my nails, so a week is a LONG time in my book. I did have one small chip I had to fix because I tried to open something with my thumbnail, but I really believe the world's best polish would've chipped under those circumstances.It does shrink your polish a bit, so I would recommend painting the free edge of your nail with the color you're using, as well as the seche vive top coat. I used the original formula seche vite for years but I think I'll be permanently replacing it with the seche vive, since I've found it to be longer lasting. The seche vive also hardens my nails so that they're strong and able to withstand most damage. Definitely recommend!

Amazing polish! The color lasts for over a week. Just gorgeous and so durable.
