FLASLD Aluminized Heat Shield Thermal Barrier Adhesive Backed Heat Blanket (12'' X 12'')

Work as described, and very cheap. Reduces temperature measurably on non contact areas, hasn’t burned up or fallen off yet. Adhesive seems sticky enough but this will be a surface by surface bases, doesn’t help to bust out some adhesive in a bottle if you know it’s gonna be permanent.

Works great , easy to use

Used it as thermal barrier backing on sportbike plastic. Adheres very well, and keeps the high temps created by the exhaust and radiator away from the plastic very well.

I installed a small solar controller panel in my truck cap and wanted to have some heat protection behind the controller. This material was pretty durable and has good adhesion. It looks good and hopefully I won’t have to know if it really works. LOL.

Used on my Jeep 4.0 oil pan (drivers side) to shield the heat from my dual pre-cats which are very close to the oil pan. Cleaned the pan with a Degreaser and has stuck on really well. Wear gloves and a long shirt as it will make you itchy... 😂Good product at a great price.

This product is cut from a large sheet and there are NO parallel or square sides. To make matters worse, it's not even cut to the specified dimensions. Also, as noted in other reviews, there is a very serious bend in the middle from the product being folded and smashed in the packaging.

I bought this because I want to have some simple protection on the wall to one side of my toaster oven where it vents out the hot air. It is a flat wood veneer surface, so working with it is not difficult to begin with, that is, it is not a porous surface.I just cut it down to the size I needed, peeled the paper on the back side and then stuck it against the wall. I did make sure I had one edge aligned before I smoothed things down. Because this heat shield is quite stiff, it is actually easy to stick it to the wall. There was no bunching up or anything.As other reviewers pointed out, this heat shield comes "folded", so you will have a crease. I did my best to reduce that crease by folding it the other way. I let it sit lying flat for a few days with some heavy books on top of it to try and get it as flat as I can, but you can never get rid of that crease. At least for my application, it is hidden from view, so I am not as concerned about it. If this needed to be aesthetically pleasing, you may need to think about doing something about it.At least for me, I'm satisfied with the results. I only JUST put this up, so I can only assume that the adhesive will be good for some time...Will have to see about it.

Compre este aislante para ponerlo detrás del frigorífico de mi autocaravana ya que el frigorífico desprende bastante calor y los armarios superiores se calentaban.El aislante está compuesto de varias capas, la exterior de aluminio, tiene una capa de tejido parecido a la fibra de vidrio y la capa adhesiva. Me ha parecido de muy buena calidad, es resistente y el adhesivo es fuerte, al colocarlo hay que hacerlo con cuidado ya que si lo ponemos mal cuesta mucho despegarlo.No se ha desprendido con el calor, lleva colocado un par semanas y se nota el aislamiento térmico, los armarios no apenas se calientan.

Colle très bien.Très facile d'utilisation.Un peu cher mais franchement très utile si comme moi votre frigo est à côté du four
