Well worth the money, use the jumper from the heated rear windscreen and its all good to go.

Decent hardwire kit
Bought this to hardwire my dashcam in the car's fuse box. It is decent for the money. The fuses were a bit hard to get into the plastic housing but I guess you just need to do it once (unless they get shorted and need replacing). The fuses included are also not of the best quality but do the job. Had this installed for a few months now and it's working with no issues so far.

Works fine
It powered my dash cam but I left it overnight with my dash cam on park mode but it killed my battery for the next day but I think I can out this down to user error for using the wrong fuze port or incorrect settings on the camera I have.

Mostly fine
It's definitely worth getting a hardwire kit if you're getting a dash cam. Assuming you don't have a Toyota where the fuse box location requires you to be able to bend in three different directions at once to fit the fuse in then it's ludicrously easy to install. The kit contains everything you need, though I think the fuse that came with mine was dead as I had to use a spare.
