I have been using one of there for almost 2 years, it still lights up, and changes colors, and still pumps a good stream of water. I keep the filter clean, and it pumps a lot of water, You have to be mindful of windy days, as the taller the water nozzle shoots the water the quicker the wind will blow it out of the bird bath. I can empty your bath pretty quickly if you don't catch it soon enough, My solution is to use the nozzle, with the largest hole, that will keep all the water in the bath, and still circulate a big volume of water, I think that helps keep the water cleaner and healthier for the birds. I do remove it during the winter months, I forgot a couple times, water froze, but not deep enough to freeze or break the pump. I got lucky i guess. The lights change color, and really look nice at night. Since mine is now old, the batteries don't last as long as they used too, I only get about an hour of lights anymore, but still enjoyable. I think it was a pretty good value for the little I paid for it. Really surprised how nice it is.

The Latest Update- when my pump began to slow down I contacted the seller for advice on how to revive its performance. The seller immediately offered a replacement which arrived in two days. The pump when working is terrific and now excellent customer service. Nice to deal with a reputable company. I am sure we will be enjoying this wonderful fountain for hopefully long time to come.Update-We have had this set up for about 10 weeks. For the first couple of months it worked great as described in the original review below. Despite having a stretch of dry sunny weather the pump has now slowed considerably. It shoots water off and on, reaching maybe 3 inches. I clean the filter and housing almost every day but even with strong sun it is fading. Very disappointing because we loved watching this especially with lights at night- usually until midnight. Now it barely makes it to 9pm. Tried to contact seller to no avail. It should have lasted longer.Original-We purchased this to place in a bird bath in our garden. This was the first time buying something like this so didn't know what to expect. As soon as we placed this in the bird bath it immediately starting working, I guess it came with the battery partially charged. The water shoots up about 10-12 inches and it comes with a variety of attachments to vary the spray pattern. On a bright sunny day it works very well but on a cloudy day the spray is weaker. Following our first sunny day I was delighted to find that the fountain continued to spray water until midnight before exhausting the battery. And the best part was that after dark it puts on a beautiful light show with changing colors. I thought it might look a bit over the top but honestly it really looks great. I hope our little pump keeps up as the birds have now discovered the bird bath and we get regular visitors.. I am also hoping for more sunny days so the show can continue.

You will need a wide bird bath as the fountain is high in full sun and the wind will blow the water away on a normal day. - a big pot disappears within hours. It performs decent in dabbled shade, not reaching too high and turning off when there's no direct sun. But it stores energy for the evening and we get a nice light show for 1-2 hours. It goes until 1-2am when charged in full sun.It would be 5 starts if the foutain height/energy expendenture could be regulated as I cannot use it in the sunny spot of my yard without getting a wider bird bath and having it in the shade means it only operates 1-2 hours at night. It seems like all the LED fountains prettymuch look the same. They change colors but don't do all the fancy things in the pictures. I've had this for a month or so and it's still performing well.

Revision on 4/17/25: I took the pump out, found the small filter and washed it in the sink. When I reassembled it the fountain was pumping water to its original height. Easy to do -- pull the pump assembly underneath the fountain away from the fountain. A small filter is easy to just take out and wash, equally easy to put back in. Cables remain connected to the pump so it is easy to do even for a klutz like me. The description suggests cleaning the filter regularly. Now I see how simple it is to clean. Nicely designed.This little fountain has been running flawlessly for 3 months. And the lights stay for several hours after dark, until the battery runs out of power. It is a very nice device

This was a great choice for our patio to add a bit of fun in a small space. There are many water spout options and you can change them as much as you like. The colored lights are fun too.

Love this fountain. It is perfect for a smaller-size water bowl I have in my yard. You have several options for spray height and volume. It keeps the water moving (so minimal algae forms) and my bowl/fountain spray is now visited by many birds. Every night it lights up with multiple colors. I do have it in pretty much constant sunlight during the day, so the solar panel is able to fully charge. I put plastic straws on the existing "arms" (that keep it in the middle of the bowl) to lengthen the arms a bit. I clean the filter out every month or so. The vendor is very responsive. I'll buy another one when this one finally goes and would happily give it as a gift if I knew someone had a need for something similar.

I bought mine in May and it just stopped working 60 days later. I took it apart and cleaned the mesh filter per the instructions and hosed out any debris several times a week. The stabilizer straws always came off too- there is no set spot to put them- you end up attaching them to some of the cables underneath- very frustrating. When it was working the lights at night were pretty and my hummingbirds danced in the water. I definitely did not get 10,000 hours of use out of it- and I have plenty of sunshine in Arizona!! Disappointed.
