Love this kite! Went up easy at beach & my 5 year old handled it no problem. Make sure to fully unravel the tail & secure string to base with a strong fishing knot for best flight. It's beautiful & sturdy. Reel style string holder recommended.

It looks cool, but simply will not fly. Tried over two separate days. First day we thought possibly not enough wind, even though our other frame-less kite flew like a champ. Second day there was a huge amount of wind. The kite would get into the air, hang for a moment and then spin and nose dive to the ground.Unlike other reviewers, the kite did not break, so I would say that it is very sturdily built because it crashed many...... many times without breaking. But the kite will not stay in the air. I don't know if the kite is too top heavy or if it is the shape of the beak, but something points the head down and goes for broke.... literally. My son was very disappointed.Not a good kite for kids - you will let them down.

So glad I purchased this kite for our vacation at the beach in NC. Easy to assemble and beautiful detail on this kite. So much fun to watch fly and gave us many hours of fun. I highly recommend it.

Rated with 4 stars instead of 5 only because I was disappointed in the size- it was smaller than anticipated. I purchased it for display in a school library. Other than that it was great! Good quality, sturdy and the kids love it hanging over their heads!

Kids loved the look of it and loved playing with it for a bit as a toy, but we couldn’t get it to fly on pretty breezy beach. It flies if you run with it, but then dives down if you try to slow down and let out the line.Saw other parents who were also failing to get it to fly. Had much better luck with a delta kite (Search for Best delta kite)

Went on a family vacation to the Outer Banks. Bought kits for 6 and flew them at the dunes at Jacques Park / Wright Brothers. The kids flew the kites for hours. What a beautiful sight to see them soaring high.

This kite looks like a rubber chicken made out of tissue paper. Total piece of crap. I never was able to get it in the air (and I am very patient). Upon my third attempt, one of the fiberglass rods snapped as I bent it according to the sellers instructions. As a kite enthusiast I had a replacement of the same length on hand which I tried in its place, only to only to watch in disbelief as it popped through the fabric pocket that is supposed to hold it in place. Back fo fhe drawing board, Hendga Kite. This design needs to be reworked — you cant bend fiberglass that far without it snapping. And to sell this kite in the same listing as an essy-to-fly delta kite is very deceptive. I didn’t realize the positive reviews we for a differen product. Amazon customet support take note.

Great looks, but flies terrible. Even on a nice windy day, this thing plummets straight to the ground, over and over. At least it is sturdy. It seems to be too top heavy. It looks nice enough that I am hanging it from my basement ceiling for decoration, but as a kite? Worthless.
