A really nice affordable hat
I have been looking for a decent fedora for some time. The main problem is that I need a size 8. Most companies don’t make hats that big. I saw this, saw the price and thought I would give it a try.It’s actually a little big on me, and I have never said that about a hat before. I may have to do a little to the sweatband.I see people complaining that it isn’t shaped right. Any hat takes a little training. I’ve had this for a day and it is already well on its way to looking the way I want it to. It started with the brim curling up all the way around. It just takes a little patience.Is this a great hat? No. Is it a nice, inexpensive, serviceable hat? Certainly. Well worth the money.

Good hat!
Nice material, shape, color, and nice fit. Good thick wool, not thin and floppy like others. I have 3-4 of these hats.Note: The pecan color is more brown than tan. On my computer it looked almost like camel color, which is what I wanted, but upon receipt it was more brown than anything else. A little disappointing in that regard, but still a decent hat for the price.

No feather but still sexy
Very self. The only complaint is that there is no feather. Still looks really nice and fits a little big and my man has a big heaed. So if you get this make sure you size up. But I did take a few stars because I bought it specifically for the look and feather, but it does not come with a feather. So the pictured description is nit exact. I still love the style and it's really well made.

“…a real man’s hat!”
This is my second hat from Hats in the Belfry, and I am very pleased with both purchases. I have worn flat caps for most of my life, and now, in my 70s, I am making the transition to fedoras - better coverage and protection for face and ears than the caps, and more comfortable too! In the grocery store the other day an older man came up to me saying, “A man wearing a fedora - you don’t see that every day!” Before moving on he said, “That’s a real man’s hat!”The packaging of the hat was fine, secure and undamaged in a box. I like wearing these hats with the snap brim style, and learned on YouTube that the front down snap of the brim should begin about halfway back. No problem with the front of the brim snapping back up.
