I don't eat candy, but if I did, this beats any candy bar out there in taste.It's absolutely delicious while simultaneously containing 18 grams of whey isolate protein and a smorgasbord of organic, wholesome ingredients.I take them hiking and camping, which I do a lot. Their only downside is that if they get warm the organic chocolate melts, and like ice cream they taste best cool. For warm weather I get the ones with no chocolate instead.

Used to be able to purchase these & then they disappeared. A bit pricey but worth it

As others have stated, do not order this product if the weather is hot. You will receive melted, degraded bars.But outside of that, the product formulation has changed. Trader Joe's used to carry these bars (so did Whole Foods) for $1.99 a bar. The bars were slightly sweet at that point, and that was after going through a formula change. I know the company was sold. The bars were manufactured in Vero Beach, Florida. They are now manufactured in California.As others have stated, the bars are now granular, gritty and much sweeter than previously formulated. The old formula did not contain agave, which is not a health food and significantly higher in fructose than high fructose corn syrup - do not eat it if you are trying to be healthy.My bars were not expired, but they did arrive melted and in poor condition. Compared to a previous order, the bars I received do not taste as good as they previously did. They taste sugary. Also, the packaging for these bars is not sealed. So when my order arrived, four of the 12 bars were missing. Amazon did issue me a full refund, but save yourself the trouble and order a different product. This product is no longer the excellent product it used to be.

For a long time I've been looking for a convenient food bar that is healthy and low in carbohydrates, but doesn't have artificial sweeteners or sugar alcohols. Unfortunately such a product doesn't exist. But the Greens+ Protein Bar (Peanut Butter flavor) is the closest I've found so far. I've been eating one every morning now for weeks and I'm very happy with the product.This bar is high in high-quality protein, and balances that with lots of micronutrients from green vegetable sources. Although its not low-carb, it is fairly low glycemic for a product of this type.It is sweetened with agave nectar (which is very similar to high-fructose corn syrup). However, I can't judge Greens+ too harshly for this, because there are no low-carb alternatives on the market, except for those with artificial sweeteners or sugar alcohols like maltitol. At least Greens+ uses a relatively small amount of sweetener. Most competing products are so loaded with sweeteners that they taste like a candy bar.Ah yes, that brings us to the issue of taste. Personally I like the taste and texture. It's slightly sweet, and tastes sort of like peanut butter mixed with green tea. The texture is dense and satisfying, although it sticks to your teeth a bit. Also I find that it satisfies my hunger quite well. But it's not for everyone. In fact my wife tried one and said "yuck, it makes me want to gag!" If you're looking for a candy-bar taste, you will not like this bar. But for the rest of us, it's a good, healthy, convenient alternative.

This is a great tasting nutritional protein bar! But it is very expensive 😒 so I don’t know if I will continue purchasing. I do use Wild Berry Greens Plus powder, usually daily.

This is my favorite snack bar, specifically the dark chocolate flavor. I think that taste delicious, have a pleasing texture (in my opinion) which isn't overly waxy or oily like some bars; in fact, there's a bit of a crunch to these. They taste compacted, not processed, for lack of a better way to describe them—in other words: they taste quite natural. I love that this bar isn't a protein bar per se but a high-fiber bar that has various other nutrients besides protein. I've had other types of bars that are moister but also some that are drier. These crumble just very slightly when one eats one, but that is not to suggest that they are at all messy; they aren't.

These are way too sweet for my taste, and I typically like things overly sweet. Predominant taste is honey. Very dry consistency as well. Disappointed that I can’t return the rest of the bars, but I guess that’s not surprising. Don’t recommend unless you like super sweet stuff!

This product has obviously had issues at some point prior to delivery!! I've normally purchased from a local health Store however they have been out of stock recently. (Possible Brexit problem!)Tasted a "off" unfortunately, so not particularly happy & unable to return or get exchange.The date is valid until April 2022.
