Not bad, but if you're a fan it may disappoint!!!!
This isn't a bad album but, being that it came from a guy who was once considered one of the best to do it, it may seem way worse than it is!!!! I bought it because I have been a fan of Mobb Deep from day one!!!! If you've never heard of them you may like this album better, Prodigy went for the mainstream on this and he actually does well!!!! When I listened as a fan I only enjoyed a few songs, and I mean a few like two or three tracks!!!! When I listened to it as just a listener, I enjoyed most of it and was really impressed, so we know he can pull it off but, what's up with the pants he had on on the cover?!!!

2/10 - Disappointing
Not even sure how I should start this, so I'll just jump right into it. What happened to P? He used to be so ill, but this entire album is terrible. He sounds tired and the lyrics are lazy and generic. At least 90% of this album consists of him talking about women. It gets really repetitive, and it sounds weird coming from Prodigy. For those of you who don't know, Prodigy is one half of the Hip Hop duo Mobb Deep. This is his third solo album, and third release in the H.N.I.C. series. However, if I didn't know this was Prodigy prior to me listening to it, I would've never guessed it was him. The album starts off with "Without Rhyme or Reason" in which P doesn't really rhyme, at all. After my second listen it hit me, "Without Rhyme or Reason" was a literal statement. Either way, it winds up being a terrible waste of an excellent beat from Alchemist. That first song really sums up the entire album, it just feels really awkward. Now I understand why Havoc has been going for Prodigy's head in some of his new songs. What I want to know is why is Havoc on here if he had problems with how the album was sounding? That means he was there for at least some of the recording sessions, so if he thought it was sounding corny shouldn't he have opened his mouth? For all we know his opinion might have completely changed how this album came out.The guests are nothing special. The only one worth mentioning is Havoc on track eleven "Who You Bullsh**tin'." For the most part the production is pretty nice, but it definitely could have been better. The only producer I actually recognized was The Alchemist, but you also get Ty Fyffe, Beat Butcher, The Colombians, as well as a few others. The main album spans 16 songs and runs at around an hour, but if you get the deluxe edition you get four bonus songs which stretch it to around an hour and ten minutes. Either way it's pretty lengthy, and the bonus songs don't really add much to the album. Honestly, by the time the final song finished on the main portion I already had enough.Standout Songs: "Life Is What You Make It" & "Who You Bullsh**tin' (Feat. Havoc)"Overall Score: 2/10 - This is terribly disappointing. I was really rooting for P on this one, but he wasn't able to pull through. In my opinion, whether your a Mobb Deep fan or not, I would suggest you skip this. Nothing about it is extremely memorable, and Mobb Deep fans will just be left with a frown on their face. This is not the Prodigy I grew up listening to.

...average listen delivering nothing new
I don't know what went wrong here but this album just takes a downward spiral as it progressed. It starts with somewhat of a bang and then just progresses into a sense of mundance listening. The production is a hit and miss, where it starts well but gradually becomes uninspired and then picking up at the end. There are some bangers but the majority of the beats are adequate. Prodigy performs like his typical self with his laid back flow and average lyrics. This mere fact combined with the uninspired beats, does not bode well for the enjoyability and replayability. Then add the fact that there is no real structure to it with a heavy bit of gangster and love tracks, isn't this the Head N*gga in Charge!?!? An average listen delivering nothing new.

ight for his 3rd album..could have been better and more darker
I was waiting for the new hnic album and it has dropp'd so when i got it home i was happy to hear that dark style mobb deepfrom p.. I have to tell you guys is that this album is not p's best out of any of the hnic collection i think its his weakest. It has some dope tracks on the album that i like the tracks pretty thug and i also i like the song get money but this album seems like p didnt take his time into this 3rd album most of its soft sounding. The productions sound genaric made and it didnt make me feel like i wanted to replay the album like many of the past mobb albums,,,Hnic part 1 was p's best effort out of his solo's and if you'er an mobb deep fan you will feel of what i am saying about this album,,Its ok but not what i expeced,,,maybe p's wanted an more commercial style for this album...I wish p would go back to his dark murderous raps...still get the album to have in the collection of the hnic's

P is baaaaaack !!!
P is baaaaaack !!! Wiz Khalifa, "Who you bullshittin" feat.
