I got the 6mm ones. I am afraid I must agree with many prior reviews. The beads are very scant on gold specks. I still have a use for mine. I will just put them at the back. Not focal point qualoty, unfortunately. Maybe the largest size is better? (I won't buy these again to find out.)

Was very excited to find this online as no local bead stores carried it; two had never even heard of rainbow obsidian. Ordered two strands. Stones are smooth with very few surface imperfections across both strands. The colors of some beads on the first strand were a little muted. I almost thought I had received silver sheen obsidian until I ramped up the light and saw the color. Natural daylight works best, but an LED light works in a pinch. The second strand was much more vivid and had some positively beautiful pieces on it. This unfortunately is the reality of buying online where you can't see them before buying. This sort of variation is normal in stones/minerals. Overall I was very pleased with the quality and value.

I bought the "Colorful" Cats Eye stone beads. The colors in the picture a very vibrant. The colors I received a very light pastel except for a few. There are 6 very dark gray or black and 4 bright blue. The remainder look washed out. I am very disappointed.

These beads look like very small peas. Like something in soup. Deceptive picture . And they appear to be some type of cheap plastic material. Worst amazon purchase in the 4 years if been a Amazon customer

The beads seem to be good quality, smooth, with even holes and no chips, but the colors are nothing like the vibrant blues and greens pictured. They are mostly a muddy dark green with some dark blue on a few of them. I am very disappointed. They'll still work for my purposes, but I really wanted the colors to at least vaguely resemble the photo. I realize that the seller has a disclaimer saying that the colors may be slightly different, but this is not just a slight difference. I'm giving 3 stars since the quality seems to be pretty good and I can still use them for my project.

2+ stars: Beads were nice with the natural finish versus polished. The size was not all the same; a good amount are smaller than the rest. Holes in beads are not the same size- from bead to bead or even one side of same bead to the other. Holes were also not centered in bead. Or, beads had more than two holes drilled in them. Some beads were not round, or had big dents or flat sides- understand this is due to ‘natural stone.’ Tried to return for being “defective,” but would cost almost as much paid to send back (no refund) so kept and will use the few good beads of the strand.

I am not happy at all I have no, not one bead that have orange just brown and grey...they are not as the picture show at all. My pic are 6mm beads so I will make something with them

These were good for the price. The ones I received were a little darker than the picture, but still had pretty red and green watermelon colors. There might have been a little more green than in the picture. I'm ordering more.
