Diesel Performance polished up-pipes for the 1999.5-2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke replace the factory exhaust feed system (exhaust manifold to the turbocharger) which is prone to leakage due to the deterioration of the exhaust crush donuts. The escaping exhaust and heat from the deterioration eventually burn out the feed pipes causing loss of turbo drive pressure and increased EGTs. The exhaust crush donuts with stainless steel gaskets for extended sealing life. New designed Stainless Steel piping with sizing to maximize transfer of heat energy to the turbo come with less restrictive, internally shielded expansion bellows that are not exposed to exhaust gases thus reducing the chance for burn out. The turbo Y-adapter is made from the same proven high-silicon ductile iron used to make our exhaust manifolds. These up-pipes are a durable, longer-life replacement for this common Powerstroke problem and is perfect as an upgrade while performing other engine or transmission repairs. Recovered horsepower 7.3 powerstroke!
Pipes look good. Hope they will hold up long term. Install took time. Nothing on a 7.3 is easy. Have 2700 miles on pipes and so far so good.

Brushed finish, not polished; DieselSite's kit? Not sure
Haven't gotten them installed yet, but they look good as far as welds and quality control. The only thing I dont like is they're listed as polished, but they're brushed finish. I dont particularly care either way, but I believe the listing should be changed. They look like they're the same as DieselSite's bellowed up pipe kit, may very well be their kit.

Great quality, fit perfectly and sealed up even to corroded manifolds with no problems
Fit great, very good quality.Poor rating for ease of installation is nothing about the product, just it is not an easy job, no matter which up pipes you buy.Make sure not to tighten connection at manifold end until last, as it makes it easier to re-install the turbo. The bellows will conform when you tighten the bolts to the manifold.Best to have oxy-acetylene torch or induction bolt heater for this job, especially in the northeast US or anywhere salt is used.

Great aftermarket parts,don't mess around with oem donnut gaskets,don't need to replace the yoke keep it as a spare in case you brake a bolt inside the original one,that's what happened in my case,all and all very happy

Quality and Install
I was very inpressed with the quality for the price. I’ve done a lot of up pipe installs and let me tell you it’s not for the weak. But they fit like factory and I have had zero issues with it so far.
