We had a kids scooter that had a faulty throttle we wanted to resurrect, the cheap throttle we picked up broke the first time the scooter fell over so we wanted something a bit more substantial and this has worked out great.It fits the bars perfectly and locks into place nice and securely, the motion of the thumb lever is nice and smooth and the power comes through without any sudden drops or surges to catch you off guard.My only reservation is the length of the connecting cable, to use it on our scooter we had to add a considerable amount of cable to it, I've rebuilt and converted quite a few scooters and bikes and I've never yet had a throttle that had less that a couple of feet of cable and it' s usually much more.That aside at this price I'd use on of these again if I was looking to fix up a kids end electric scooter.
