Excellent quality for such a low price, but comes on the low side in terms of sizing.

Bought this for a Halloween costume. It runs small. The model must have a small head because it barely fit me. Worked for the purpose it was bought for. Material was thick. It didn't feel cheap.

They really need to remove the word "adult" from the description. We had to cut the inside elastic in multiple locations in order to get it to fit a small adult's head.

I bought this for a hat exchange at a party. It's well constructed and was a very popular trade. The felt has the appearance of worn leather. The party was for a group of international employees and we all brought hats representing our area. Mine represented a Minute Man from New England. After the maximum allowed trades, It finally ended up with a friend from Brazil. It was a very fun night.

Too small for my large head. Sits high and looks funny in a bad way. Huge fabric brand label "Nicky Bigs Novelties" attached to outside of back of hat flopping around making you look like a billboard for their brand--you're supposed to be a pirate--NOT a billboard!Packaged and shipped in clear plastic bag too small for the hat--so it is scrunched and deformed to get it into package. I am returning it and the shipping label is placed over the bag opening in such a way that you cannot open without tearing the plastic bag. My personal info is on it (name/address) and so it creates a dilemma: do I return w original packaging w my name/address pasted on it, or do I return just the hat without a package (preserving my privacy)?If you have a smaller head, it may work for you. The deformed hat can be massaged back to its intended shape. I HATE the label placement, label look and label size--stupid! You can't cut the label without a white remnant remaining.This hat is a FAIL!

This tricorn hat is of pretty good quality for the price. It is very comfortable, if a little snug. It is only 23 inches on the inside, so it is not good for people with large heads. The size and shape are good. It is not heavy, but rather lightweight. It is a good hat for Halloween and Renaissance fair use, which is why I bought it.

I just received it and it’s not what’s shown here. It has 4 tips, not 3. And it is tiny. Not sure if I got sent the wrong one. But it’s sized for a child.
