BEGINNER MECHANICS GAG GIFT SET!!!
Seasoned mechanic here and decided to try these to alleviate a dripping fuel line on the motorcycle. The easy answer was a spring clip since that is what was factory and a tight work space between the V heads. Pliers in hand squeezed the first one together to put on the fuel line before reattaching to the petcock valve. Spring snapped in my hand. These style have never been my favorite or even a preferred method of hose clamp, but in 30+ yrs of mechanics, never had one snap like it was brittle and cheap. Thought it was a fluke - especially since it broke in the middle of the split on both sides. I could see it having a defect in the metal and snapping maybe across a whole piece maybe - but both sides of two seperate pieces of metal ...... no way. Second one squeezed like normal twice - third time it snapped at the hinging points of one of the ears. WTF? Now I go through ten squeezes on a couple more and no problem - put one of them on the bike knowing this is risky, but even if it is a temporary fix it gets it home from the friends house where the gas leak started. All put together and about to start the bike when I hear "chink" and metal bounce around and fall to the ground. The amount of things I had to remove to find the problem to have room to fix it included removing saddle bags and sissy bar, seats, gauges, controls and accessories, gas tank, and all the other vacuum lines and fuel hoses to get to this one. Now that every thing is reassembled, the metal snaps before start-up. I grit my teeth and put a zip-tie on it to get it home. No leaks and made it safe - but now starting the disassembly process again and even if it is a pain to do it, I will be installing a good old fashion hose clamp on there to hopefully avoid this problem ever again. I knew better than to use this cheap china made junk for a problem I didn't want to have to revisit. Even an old mechanic can make a juvenile mistake. I bought this kit a few days ago for another tight spot issue on the riding mower, which got me thinking. Went out and wiggled the hose the clamp was on and it did not snap but I noticed it lost its spring tension and I could spin it around on the hose with my hand. Never seen that either. Sending this box of mechanic gag gifts back.

So bad it shouldn't be sold.
Half of the clamps break when you try to put them on, the other half break after being installed for a couple days. The quality of this product is beyond poor. It is a 100% waste of your money. I have tried to use around 20 of these clamps and every single one has broken. Could make for a dangerous situation if used for fuel lines, or kill your motor if used for coolant lines.

Garbage. I dont like leaving bad reviews
Garbage. I dont like leaving bad reviews, but what a total waste of money. These things break so easily. Very disappointed. The tabs snap off by lightly releasing tension with a pair of plyers.

Horrible. Extremely brittle.
These are incredibly brittle. They only last a few days and will break on their own when in use. They will brake for sure if you try to remove them to do some work.
