I purchased this based on its low price and good reviews and am very impressed. I purchased this two years ago and it is still going strong. I use it several days a week and for several hours a day and it is still working great. The battery life is phenominal, lasts for days of hard use. It has plenty of torque so it is a good thing the clutch works well. The hardest use I have is for driving wood screws into various hardwoods and it does great. I also use it working on my cars, just replaced a valve cover gasket that had like 16 screws, made fast work of that! It is even handy around the house for general light duty jobs like electrical recepticals and light fixtures. Very glad I purchased the one with replacable batteries so one is always ready to go. Only issue I had, is same as others, the forward/reverse switch is too easy to hit by accident. It took me a long time to get used to not hitting it by accident. Would buy this tool again and again, its one of my most often used power tools.

Just needed something for everyday household use, nothing super heavy. Really like it. So far it does the job and battery life has been fine

Overall this thing is great. It is a great price for what you end up getting. I only have a few things to complain about...1. It isn't variable speed. This is the worst part of it, hoever you can't expect a top of the line product for this price. It's just on full, or off.2. The loosen/tighten switch is FAR too easy to hit one way or the other. It isn't a deal breaker though. Just be a little careful and it will be fine.3. The torque stoppers are not great. Even at the lowest setting, it strips screws instead of stopping the turn. That's annoying. setting 1 might as well be setting 6.4. It's a bit large, but nothing giant.Other than that, it's a pretty great . The easy quick change locking bit holder is very easy and works great. The ability to use it as a gun style or a straight style is also great.I use it to work on computers a lot and it does a perfect job (aside for the torque adjust).For the price, you get a great tool with a great set of accessories. The charge seems to last quite a while. I have only had to charge it one time so far.This isn't a drill. It isn't meant to drive screws into wood or metal. It is just a simple screwdriver that makes light work of simple in and out jobs. My next one will absolutely have variable speed, but for this price, it's totally a great product.

Bought this tool to replace a little electric screwdriver that had a non-removable battery. The old one worked well but I had to toss it out when the battery would no longer take a charge, even thought the tool itself still worked.The Posenpro cost a little more but it comes with 2 removable rechargeable batteries. This allows always having one battery charged and, assuming they can be replaced, avoids having to throw out a well-functioning tool just because the battery is shot.The Posenpro seems to have considerably more torque than the B&D screwdriver it replaced. It may be slightly larger but it's still light weight and comfortable to grip. It also comes in a nicely fitted plastic case so everything can be kept together.So why only 4 stars? Maybe it's just me but I am constantly accidentally tripping the little buttons which control the direction of rotation. They are located just above the trigger and it takes a conscious effort to avoid bumping them. Again, not a big issue but a moderate aggravation. But I'd still highly recommend this tool. Excellent value.

For less than $30 you can’t beat this electric screwdriver. Charges fast. Plenty of bits. Enough power to drive a 2” screw into a 2x4. You’ll be happy to add it to your tool chest.

I got the Posen Pro electric screwdriver with 2 batteries. The screwdriver itself works OK, but I have two problems / concerns with the AC/DC adapter for the battery charger. First, the AC prongs are not polarized (both prongs are exactly the same shape, size, and length), so it’s not clear which way to plug it into my AC outlet. Second, after I do plug it into AC and insert a battery into the charger, the LED on the AC/DC adapter does not turn on. I tried reversing the AC/DC adapter on the AC outlet, and still no response from the LED on AC/DC adapter. I’m not sure if there’s a problem with mine, or if the LED is not supposed to turn on if the batteries are already charged. The manual just says the LED should turn on, so this is not clear. I’ll wait for a reply before returning this, as the screwdriver itself seems fairly good.

This drill has it all adjustable strength,it has a light for dark areas, many accessories and a nice storage case and a good price.

Needed one of these and I am glad I bought it, battery life last very long and the accessories are great. I would recommend it.

This is a great set that comes with lots of accessories and two batteries, I do like how it can transform to a "straight" mode.The only annoyance is that the torque settings (turning that dial) does not appear to do anything. It appears to stay at full power regardless of the setting, and that's really a big annoyance as on my large drill, I really do use the torque dial a LOT. So I have to be careful using this to not push the screws in too far and either strip the screw of have it go too far into the wood.

The item arrived in time, as promised, however, we were not made aware of it and it stayed outside our front porch for a while. Ringing the bell to notify will not take any longer than a second.Some of our products from other companies were already stolen.
