Works fine in U.S. even with iPhones
I’m not sure why people are having trouble with these, the official app works fine and there is an open source 3rd party app called WatchFlower that also works on PCs.I’ve had zero problems connecting to them, they are just simple Bluetooth LE devices, any Bluetooth 4+ device made in the past 10+ years can talk to them, including new Bluetooth 5+ devices (Bluetooth is 100% backward compatible).For anyone wondering, the moisture sensor isn’t in the bottom like one of the pictures shows, it’s hidden behind the plastic walls. There are 2 large metal plates that seem to be capacitive soil sensors.The 3 metal pins inside appear to ge temperature (top pin) and then the other 2 are soil EC.

Ended up loving them
After the original review I ended up playing with these. It took me a bit but I finally got them to connect to my phone. I love these. It lets me know when I need to water, feed, if they’re over watered. Absolutely love them. Had to update. I would give a 5 star but I can’t figure out how to get it to push notifications when a plant needs watered or when the pot needs charged.

Good for smaller plants
Logging in on the free app is finicky sometimes. Sometimes requiring set up or overtaking of the planter. battery life is less than desired, but being near an outlet makes charging easy.

Don’t work in US
Do not get this Pot. Thought it would be great way to help me keep things alive…after 20 min trying to scan QR code in Chinese and then trying to find alleged app it won’t let me in. Sadly too late to return it for me-but y’all run don’t walk away from this product

Indicador LED
Desde la última actualización del firmware versión 1.3.6, el indicador LED para saber el estado de la planta sin conectarse desde la app, no funciona. Sólo se enciende la luz verde parpadeante cuando te conectas desde la app. Por lo demás todo correcto.

Manque de précision
Voila plusieurs semaines que je n'ai pas arrosé la plante mais du jour au lendemain le pot me dit qu'il y a trop d'eau, je me demande si il est réellement fiable .... le pot m'indique aussi que l'engrais a augmenter de manière assez fort alors que j'ai rien ajouter .... est-ce fiable ? aucune idée. Coté esthétique, c'est beau mais ne compense pas le manque de confiance ...

peccato che me lo aspettavo un po piu grossino.. visto il prezzo..ma è ben fatto.. e molto figo... funziona benissimo.. si lo ricomprerei.

Good size smart plant pot to help monitor your plants
From opening the packaging I was pleasantly surprised right away how well made this is and it definitely comes across as sturdy and not at all cheap looking or tacky.For the price you get a nice sized plant pot that has sensors to measure moisture and nutrient levels and is rechargeable via usb. It lacks temperature or light measurements but that's something you can easily monitor separately and if you're like me it's watering/nutrients where I tend go wrong with plants.Theres a decent length usb cable included but you need to provide your own charger.Out the box, it doesn't take long to charge and pair with the flower care app - it helps if you enable location as well as bluetooth when pairing. Once paired it needed a firmware update and whatever plant you want to monitor added and you're done.It also works well with the Xiaomi Mi Home app and if you have a bluetooth gateway like the Xiaomi bedside lamp you can monitor it remotely without needing to use bluetooth - it's easy enough to find how to do this on the internet.Very happy with it - definitely a good purchase!

Good idea, good build quality, but maybe old stock
Bought two - neither of them charge passed 10%.App says replace the battery. Maybe old stock?Update - unplugged them and connected to them the next day and they both reported a full battery and prompted to apply updates. Will be keeping. Changing from 1*to to 4*
