CetaphilFlare-Up Relief Body Wash with Colloidal Oatmeal to Help Soothe and Condition Ultra-Dry, Stressed, Sensitive Skin, 20 oz

I have tried almost every gentle body wash available and this is the only one I can use. My skin is very sensitive to detergents that over clean. This body wash is cream-based and therefore does not produce a lot of lather. I have hard water, so it may produce more in an area with softer water. I have found that if I apply it with my hands first and then wash with a wet cloth that I do not need or miss the lather. This method also prevents me from overusing the product. My skin feels great with no dryness after showering. Cetaphil Smoothing Relief has almost the same ingredients except that it contains micro exfoliators. I have to be a little more careful with the amount of pressure I use on the cloth when using the Smoothing Relief, but it is an acceptable secondary choice. Both of these are fragrance-free and are much gentler than even Cetaphil Ultra Gentle.

I suffered from post scabies itch and crawling sensations for about 6-8 months. The treatment cream permethrin dried my skin badly stripping its natural oils and destroyed the skin barrier. I am extremely pleased with this product because my skin is also sensitive. This soap gives the perfect amount of lather, hydration, and cleanliness.I am not as itching and the crawling sensations minimized on day two of use. My mental health was deteriorating seriously! I was nervous about this because I didn't think it would actually help, but it has been super helpful for my skin! I use to think it wasnt really a big deal to change up some of my products, but once I made the switch im not sure ill go back. I am kind of sad because I enjoy scented body washes, but the way it feels on my skin and how much it has actually helped with my excema makes it worth it! Its not super foamy, or oily, but it is super moisturizing! I love it!

After a few weeks of using this product, the itchy patches seems to have mostly improved. It doesn't lather all that great, but that's also not the primary reason I bought it. However, it smells quite bad. I wonder if it is the thio-compound (most thio compounds are known for bad smells) or the lactobacillus ferment.

After having been diagnosed with lichen planus earlier this year I was in need of something that would help calm my extremely sensitive skin. This did the trick! I am so happy I found it and it has given me lots of relief from itchy, dry skin. It is effective in giving you a clean feeling and does not leave any unwanted residue. It's worth the price for sure.

This works really good on problematic skin. I used this to recover from a severe allergic reaction to poison ivy and it was a life saver. Provides itch relief and noticeably moisturizing skin. It has also helped my son with his eczema to smooth it out and lessen the itch. It’s finally clearing up. It’s cost efficient. I did notice that it does not lather well on wash clothes so I just used my hands to lather it onto the skin. A loofa would probably do the job. Highly recommend for people with skin issues.
