Works exactly as described and has enough power to fully cure
I wish the directions on how to use the 99 second slow feature where little easier because even with the instruction packet I'm still not sure how to work it. You press and hold the button for 3 seconds to turn it on and off but I can't really tell which one is on or which one is off. Most of the time the lamp does not get too hot and hurt my fingers, but if using it back to back frequently it will occasionally begin to do that. All you need to do is give it a little break and try again after a minute or so and it is no longer too hot. Also, having your fingers closer to the exit hole helps prevent this instead of pushing them all the way into the lamp towards the back. The bottom metal part is shipped with protective blue plastic sheeting that you can peel off if you choose to. It sticks on with magnets and appears to be touch-sensitive so if you are touching it it will remain on and if you lift your hand up the lights will turn off. I have little magnetic bases that hold press on nails and I can insert them into this machine and it will remain on, so it must also be magnetic activated which is nice so I don't have to keep my hand under the LED lights. The height is pretty good and I don't usually have to be overly careful when putting my hands in and out, and the press on bases I mentioned do fit inside the machine with a little room to spare.I have been using this consistently for a few months now and haven't had any problems. The old lamp I had was not powerful enough to fully cure gel even if I used it for three or more minutes, but this one cures almost everything in the 60 seconds that most manufacturers recommend for gel. I have used this with semicured gel strips as well as a few different brands of gel polish. With my old lamp, gel strips would not get fully cured and would still be soft and flexible but with this one they become firm like they're supposed to.I would recommend using this lamp or any lamp on a table that is a little bit lower so that the lights aren't reflecting into your eyes for safety. You can also purchase special fingerless gloves to protect your skin from the UV light.

I love this uv light. Only 30 seconds for gel polish to dry and it’s durable. Really saves me money on gel polish
