KIDWILL Handheld Game Console

This is a great little system full of nostalgic games from my childhood. It is light and small and can fit easily inside a pocket. The screen is well lit. All the games are organized in a big list and you can cycle through them game by game or page by page. There is something here for everyone. If I had one tiny little nit pick, it is that the d-pad is a circle and not a true d-pad, so it takes a little bit of getting used to, to be able to index your character correctly. But after a short time playing you quickly learn to push at the correct spot on the circle so that your player moves forward, instead of crouching, for example. For the money, it's an awesome value and no brainer and would be a great gift for a child who wants to see what retro gaming was about, or for the adult who wants to feel a little nostalgia while playing games they loved and revered as a kid.

This portable system reminiscent of a Gameboy Color. It is a little smaller in size than a Gameboy Color. It does have 500 unique games. Some hits you remember from the 80’s, and others are more of a homebrew style. None of the games are the types that would require a save file like an RPG genre. The controls are responsive for the directional pad and buttons. The X/Y buttons will act as a turbo mode if the original game just used A/B. I was did not test the video out so I cannot speak to that.I think this would make a good gift for somebody who would want to kill some time reliving some classic game goodness.

I love the game selection but wish it was a little bigger. I ordered 3 for me, my husband and my son. We all like using them as portable games. We prefer not hooking them into the tv, so they are bit small when using them that way. However, they’re still a lot of fun. A blast back to our childhood!

My Son asked for this as a birthday gift , after reading some of the reviews i was hesitant, but surprisingly, this was the best thing i purchased for him & gets the most play out of his things right now. He is constantly playing with it & it has held up even after a few drops to the floor. He actually plays a lot Of the different retro games as well as the super mario bros ! The quality of the games look great and the volume can go really loud. For the price , you cant go wrong. 👍🏻

Battery lasts a lot longer than expected. I bought 2 for 9yo twins. The buttons on one do stick and make it not easy to play. My boys love them.

This brought back memories of playing in the old Atari system. I enjoyed the games from my childhood...Mario, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders...to name a few. I've had this for about a month now but I still haven't had the chance to explore the other games coz there's 500 of them! I can't believe all of these games are loaded in such a compact console. I hook it up to the TV and it's like being back at sleepovers and playing games all night.

For what you pay, this is awesome. Especially if you're itching to play some old school nes and atari games. The build quality seems decent. You shouldn't be expecting Gameboy quality for the price, but it gets the job done and it's comfortable to hold.

Extra controller DID NOT WORK AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!****UPDATE****ConTroller works!!!! So at first I didn't push it all the way only halfway! Make sure to do that because it seemed tight halfway but you have to push all the way !!! Games are great retro
