The Sony unit does the job spectacularly - I would highly recommend it to anyone trying to fill a similar need
My 47-year-old high-end tuner/amplifier died, and I already have wi-fi enabled components, so I needed a functional replacement without additional bells and whistles. The Sony unit does the job spectacularly - I would highly recommend it to anyone trying to fill a similar need. The equipment arrived when advertised and was well packed. Easy to install. I'm still learning what all I can do with the remote.

Decent receiver for the price
I bought this for my wife's Pilates studio. She plays CD's as background music for her clients. I hooked it up to two JBL bookshelf speakers and the sound fills the 800 sq. Ft. Room nicely with little distortion. I would suggest that if you plan on listening to the AM/FM radio functions that you may need better antennae than the ones included with the receiver, particularly if the unit is in a basement or below grade room, as is ours. All in all I'm happy with the purchase which is good value for the price.

Sony Recever
I had another one of these which I donated to my two daughter's dance studio. This unit is a workhorse, has hood power and creates good sounds with some good speakers. This unit was shipped in a timely manner and arrived in good order. Thanks for a great shopping experience.

Sony am/fm tuner
I received my tuner in just a few days after ordering. It was not that hard to install and the sound is excellent. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a tuner. Price was very reasonable also.

Easy entry to the digital age since this has a digital input
Exactly as described. I tried using my old Technics receiver/amp to take digital input from Alexa and it had no digital input so I adapted it to go into one of the other inputs. Sound was bad. This Sony has a digital input and it sounded perfect immediately and all my other components still worked fine. It was time to move into the digital age, I guess. Great product and price.

Wattage as advertised
Unit sounds great....but as a mechanic...if advertised as 270w...2 channel....135 per channel....rite? Sony spec tells only 90w + 90w = 180W.....THIS seems like it's 90w short....like said earlier sounds great......just expected 270w....I'm on the fence....keep/returnAfter brief discussion with Katie at the service department. ..all issues were discussed. ...no longer on the fence. ...will keep this Sony stereo receiver still sounds great. ....thank you Katie. ....mikegresham0855@gmail.co

Outstanding stereo receiver
This receiver provides excellent sound quality. I installed it in my garage. The only thing I had to do was install an exterior FM antenna because my garage is steel and I also installed LED lighting which interferes with radio reception. Once the FM antenna was installed, I get more radio stations than ever before. Sound quality and material are outstanding.
