2006 Dodge Ram Mega 3500 4x4 SRW with 35" tires on a stock suspension and a Cummins
My review might be a little biased or distorted because as it turns out one of my rear shocks had no nitrogen charge left in it. That being said these shocks changed the way my truck rides and handles. I've had these shocks on the truck for about a week now, and while I do feel smaller bumps a little more (this might improve after the break in), I don't feel that little shake or unsteadiness that it had before. On the highway the truck feels much more planted and secure in the turns. This is just with changing the rear shock. The fronts are still the originals. Oh, and the big bumps, these babies just soak up the big bumps amazingly. Before changing the shocks I pushed on all corners of the truck (actually jumped on the bumpers) to see if it kept bouncing like a car does when it's shocks are blown and never noticed anything. Maybe it's because the suspensions on these trucks are so heavy duty that even worn out shocks will stabilize it when empty. I bought my truck in 2007 and guess that the shocks degraded so gradually that I didn't notice it happening. The only reason I bought these shocks were that the were on sale for $38.58 each. If it wasn't for that sale I would never have changed my shocks. Knowing the difference these have made I wish I would have changed them a long time ago.I will be changing the front shocks with Bilstein 24185776 shocks. The reason I' going with Bilstein for the front is that they have the same extended length as the stock ones where as the KYB 56018 are 1.22" shorter extended and have a 0.91" shorter stroke. If it wasn't for the difference in length I would go with the KYB 56018 shocks.Very happy with this purchase.

Three Stars
Work great. Helped with sway caused by top heavy truck camper.

Replaced Bilstien 5100's with Monomax.
Wow. What a difference compared to the well worn Bilstein 5100's. Rear shocks were just worn. Need to change out every 5 to 6 years no matter whose shocks you buy. Found the source of an annoying noise when the shock bolt was worn to about two thirds it original size. Started punching out the bushing. The Kyb's are the same length expanded or contracted as the 5100's. Much slower to expand and much harder to push in. My Bilstein's were a good two years beyond when I should have changed them. My bad. I have been really happy with the Kyb's and running my tires at 50 psi unloaded. Great shock so far.

Really good shocks for the $$
Very good shocks for the money. I have used these Monomax shocks on other vehicles and have not been disappointed in their performance.
