I have been using this since a hairdresser recommended it to me 10 years ago. I definitely recommend using sparingly, maybe once a week or every other week. Because it can make your hair dryer. Personally, what I do, is a put a ton in my hands right before a shower and I will put it on the spots. I need to brighten up or I will slather my whole head. Then I let it sit for five minutes while I get my shower ready and then I immediately put my regular shampoo right over top of it as I’m rinsing it out. My hairdresser told me my hair wasn’t the slightest bit bronze or yellow when I came in after eight weeks.

Still my favorite purple shampoo. I have tried many many others which of all worked fine but this is my go to. I love the smell. It works great. Does not dry my hair out as much as others, but still strong.

I’ve used this shampoo for years. I started out using a more expensive one from a salon, but Shimmerlights is as good or better and less expensive than salon products. My hair is white and I get a lot of compliments. I know it is because of this shampoo. I recommend it to others.

I've been blonde my whole life and have always found it difficult to keep my color looking the way I like it. I've tried just about every purple shampoo out there and will honestly say, this one is the BEST. It literally takes out any hint of brassiness and leaves my hair a beautiful pale blonde. It also makes my hair super soft and manageable. The only down-side for me is that I HATE the smell!

Have used this for years when I have blonde in my hair. I use it once a week to keep the brassiness away. I like more of an ash blonde in my hair. I have fine wavy hair and it doesn’t dry my hair out but doesn’t leave it oily. It’s great!

I made a mistake and didn’t look at the size of the bottle. No wonder it was so cheap.
