If this button you need to control is a normally open pushbutton, you would wire the normally open relay contacts across the terminals of that pushbutton, and when you activate the relay you'll get one "press" of the button. You would then write code equivalent to: activate, delay, deactivate, delay, delay, activate, delay, deactivate. which would give you your two button presses. Experiment a little bit on how much delay is required, start with each occurrence of the word "delay" above being a 200ms delay.

This device is a relay controller, meaning it has an "output" signal. You need a device with an "input" signal. There are lots of other ESP8266 boards out there with "input" signals on board, and which could be programmed to do what you want. You can buy those for about five bucks apiece, plus power. You could run these off a USB cable with an AC/USB adapter "wall wart".
