Q: Has anyone actually measured any of the sizes for length and width?

No. These shoes are very small. I usually wear a size 7, but these are size 8.5.

Q: If I’m a 6 1/2 should I get 7 1/2?

I would get a 7. Seems they are about 1/2 size smaller

Q: Can you dance salsa in these on blacktop?

I've used these in a dance studio with wooden floors. and on concrete. The shoes have a spin spot, so it's easy to spion and make turns. I' ve never danced on blacktop.

Seria Bueno que compraras medio punto mas grande... quenda mucho mas comodo, tambien hay que considerer las medias que uno usa, o las plantillas que unomete dentro del calzado. Yo uso plantillas para poder lavarlas en la lavadora yademas uno medias deportivas un poco espomjosas... asi qiue siempre le pongo medio punto adicional. Seria Bueno que hiciera su dibujo del pie en una hoja en el piso... luego la mide y logra entender su talla ... no falla... recuerde que si su talla en centimetros es exacta a la medida que quiere ... entonces sugiero que compre una talla mas grande, ya que le puede quedar justo. Yo compre este calzado una talla mas grande... porque tengo un dedo mas largo de un pie, y ademas porque en centimetros era exacto al numero, considerando la plantilla , la media y que el calzado debe quedar mas grande (holgado) una talla mas es perfecta. La talla NO queda mas grande del pie.
