bintiva Aqua Dumbbell Set - Provides Resistance for Water Aerobics Fitness and Pool Exercises - 1 Pair - 3

Ordering was difficult because it is not clear what resistance each type has: light, medium, heavy. I chose medium which is working out very well for me, by chance. Knowing more about the kind of resistance would be helpful for others who might want to purchase. In fact, our whole class!

I have been going to water aerobics for several years and like to have my own personal dumbbells to use. After 6 years my original open cell dumbbells finally bit the dust and I had to buy new ones. Unfortunately I could not find any open cells available, so I purchased the Bintiva brand of closed cell dumbbells. I was a little worried that they would not be as water resistant as the open cell, but after using them just once, I was very surprised they worked as well as the open cell, and maybe had a little more resistance. I would recommend these to anyone who does water aerobics.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN... Not sure why my ORIGINAL review could not be posted... it was not profane etc... simply the fact.. unless the word Dumbbell which is what the product is called is considered to be profane. All I wanted was to received the second Dumbell... It shows TWO of these Float Weights... and I only received one . Please review my Orriginal review....by person, NOT an automated screener which may have picked up the word Dumbell and found it to be offensive... What is the point of a Review if you cannot put down how you actually Feel.... I used your link to notify the Shipper and I did NOT get any customer response.. I put that in the original feedback as I think that is appropriate feedback for the next Customer to know, that the shipping company is not responsive to customer correspondence... First thing you notice with these dumbbells . . . what a workout! I've used Aqua Dumbbells for years, but the wider "weight" on them really adds resistance to your workout. Others always want to try them, and are shocked at how much more they work your arms. I'm fighting the "old lady happy flappy arms", and these seem to be helping. I've lost an inch and half on my upper arms in the month since I started using them. Even my husband carries on about the major workout he gets with these. One of my better fitness purchases.

Been using the ones provided at the gym (blue stem with yellow finned ends) and they got too easy. Decided to give these a try. HUGE difference. I ordered the 'medium'. Will get a lot of use and a good workout with these. Well made, super light weight out of the water. Wish they came with some sort of bag, but hey I crochet so I'll whip one up. Very Very please with this purchase

I used to take Aqua Aerobics classes at a pool where the dumbbells were supplied, but I moved and now use a pool that doesn't offer classes so I decided to buy my own dumbbells. These are even better than the ones at my old pool. I like the size/resistance, and I especially like the padded handles -- that's huge for hand comfort. I do have one request -- I wish they came with a pamphlet of exercises -- a guide to show you how to use them. I don't want to buy a book, I just want something that explains around 10-20 exercises using these dumbbells please.

I received the aqua dumbbell set on time and immediately used them in my daily aqua fitness routine. They were far superior to using a noodles. They provided the necessary resistance for my “aqua running” in a My clubhouse pool. My neighbors were impressed. Wish there were more colors to match my swimsuits 😁 Highly recommended

Since our pool doesn't allow use of their equipment in this virus imposed limitation then we resorted to buying our own. We bought 2 different sets, one heavier than the other but I really wish there had been more precise information on water resistance (i.e.5 lbs., 10 lbs. etc.) Even the 'smaller' of the ones I bought are more than we were used to before the virus shut everything down. Now our pool is open, by appointment, limited in number. Yes, we had not had water aerobics for some time but we had been doing exercises to keep up. Well, we were unprepared for these! Much more resistance that what we had used before! Result...sore muscles, moans and groans!! Still...good product.

These were a gift for my Aunt & she loves them!!
