This is a really nice compact and portable hairbrush, perfect for travel, keeping in your purse, or even for the car. The construction feels solid for the price, and it opens and closes smoothly, with the added bonus of lightly locking in place when fully opened so you can use it more like a traditional brush without it folding back on you. The bristles pop up easily and securely when opened and collapse back down cleanly when closing, and they’re thick and sturdy enough to detangle hair effectively (even with my thicker and wavier hair type), but still soft and gentle on the scalp with the rounded tips. It's also relatively easy to clean since the bristles aren't as wire-like compared to some traditional brushes. The built-in mirror is small but functional for quick checks or touch-ups. Plus, it comes in several fun colors which is a nice bonus. For the price, this brush is a great value and exactly the kind of easy, and portable accessory I was looking for. Would definitely recommend!
