A Simple and Robust Tool for Basic Ignition Testing
The SINGARO Inline Spark Plug Tester is a straightforward diagnostic tool that lives up to its description. In essence, it's a plug-and-play tester designed for quick and easy spark plug diagnosis. Its simplicity is its greatest strength. If you're familiar with connecting a spark plug wire, you'll be able to use this tool without any learning curve. The tester is about the size of a mid-sized screwdriver, making it relatively easy to handle. It feels robust and well-built, suggesting it should withstand regular use and last a reasonable amount of time. The secure connection it provides during testing is also a plus, preventing accidental disconnections during operation. However, its design isn't without limitations. The main drawback is the bulky testing light area. This can make it difficult, if not impossible, to use in tight engine compartments. For applications where spark plugs are easily accessible, like on many lawnmowers, this isn't an issue. But for more confined spaces, such as those found in some chainsaws, other, more compact testers would be a better choice. Additionally, working on cars with tight engine spaces could pose an issue.Pros:• Very easy to use, virtually foolproof.• Straightforward testing.• Solid and durable construction.• Secure connection during testing.• Well-suited for lawnmowers and similar easily accessible engines.Cons:• Bulky testing light area limits use in tight spaces.• Not ideal for chainsaws or engines with difficult-to-reach spark plugs.Overall:• The SINGARO Inline Spark Plug Tester is a good choice for those needing a simple, reliable tool for testing spark plugs in easily accessible engines like those found in lawnmowers. While its bulk prevents it from being a universal solution, its ease of use and sturdy construction make it a worthwhile addition to your tool collection, if you primarily work on engines with ample space around the spark plugs. Be mindful of space constraints before purchasing.

Piece of junk.
I do not recommend!!!I have used quality spark testers like this in the past and never had issues. I saw this for a low price and figured, not much to lose. Well it was a definite loss. The packaging was opened on one side but the tester seemed to be in place. The cable end inside the threaded cap looked like it was soldered by a 3 year old. It is so boogered up that it will not allow the spring nor the end of the bulb to sit correctly to complete the circuit. I resolved this by putting a small washer between the cable and spring, and a small nut between the bulb and its seat. This allowed it to complete the circuit. However, the bulb is so weak, I could barely tell it was flashing. This was on an overcast sky, around 1600 hours in south GA. Nearly impossible to see because it was so dim.Well, you get what you pay for. Not recommended.

Won’t Work to test a Riding Mower Ignition coil
I bought this so that I could test my ignition coil on my riding mower. Basically it doesn’t work (the lights don’t come on with a working coil. I tested it on two different lawnmowers, one of which starts fine). If that is the use you need it for, it wont work. Once the engine is running, the lights blinks just fine. It might work on an automobile coil, but I didn’t try that. I’m returning it. It was just as easy to watch the spark plug gap while grounding the plug against the engine block.
