Good as new!
Replaced a set or worn wheels from the kids skidding around. They went in pretty easy, the berrings are good and the lights are bright! Would recommend.

Work great for micro scooter.
We needed to change the back wheels on Micro scooter and it works perfect! Lights up. Happy with the purchase.

Not good for rollerblades
The rolling resistance is too high.While the ABEC-9 bearings are great, the generator within the wheels causes the wheels to have high rolling resistance. Basically it's very hard to move quickly on theses wheels.I expect they are using a zener diode as a voltage shunt to dump excess power beyond what is needed by the LEDs. Before buying I was expecting the amount of power would plateau at the level needed to light the LEDs, but instead the percent of power lost at higher speeds also seems significant.It feels as if I'm rollerblading on a carpet instead of the smooth concrete.

They help extend the life of some scooters we have. They are nice, but then they last for about a year or two.
