Good quality. on a softish carpet the chair wheels do dig in a bit but it does protect the carpet underneath. unrolling was a pain so have some heavy items handy to hold it flat for a couple of days. Thickness and sturdiness are good too. been using it for a good while now and still no signs of wear and tear.

The size is good and it settles flat after a day or two. I think it should be a bit thicker as the wheels of the chair make dents in the material which then prevents easy gliding of the chair.

Very sturdy mat. Does not move once down on the carpet. It is a good buy, at a good price.I would recommend it even if difficult to unroll…

Mat itself is OK for money. As already mentioned it dents very easily though it does seem to stay in place when moving your chair around.The main issue for me is the polyvinyl material or whatever its made of smells like it's 75 percent baby sick and piss.Horrendous.Had it for 3 weeks now. 6 days of which it's been outside trying to get rid of the stench but the minute I bring it in and it hits room temperature air I'm almost retching from the stench.Started returns process gave up when I saw I had to schlep it a mile down road to somewhere I could send it from after printing label off.Keep my money. Maybe invest in some R&D to get that stink out of your product?Disappointed.

For my corner desk setup, the size is just about right, offering enough space to maneuver my chair a little in each direction. It effectively protects my carpet from wear and tear, and crucially, it prevents my office chair from feeling bogged down and difficult to roll in the carpet fibers. This makes a noticeable difference to ease of movement.While it could potentially have been a little larger to allow for even more expansive movement, it's absolutely fine for my day-to-day usage and overall comfort.One of its strong points is the spiked underside, which does an excellent job of keeping the mat firmly in place on the carpet. I haven't experienced any frustrating shifting or sliding around, which is a common issue with other mats.A crucial tip for new buyers: make sure to thoroughly flatten it out when you first get it. Like many mats that come rolled for shipping, it will initially have some curl on the sides. Taking the time to flatten it (perhaps by placing weights on the corners or in a warm room as recommended for similar products) will prevent those edges from curling up and becoming a tripping hazard or hindering chair movement.

The plastic is so tightly rolled that it was difficult to open it to put it on the floor. I tried warming it up first by leaning up the rad, but it didn’t work. In the end I needed help to unroll it, spikes on the back hurt my hands. I needed heavy weights to keep it flat.Don’t expect to open and use. Without some help.Once on the floor it worked fine.

Getting this out of the box was fine but rolling it out was incredibly difficult. The plastic was so tightly wrapped that it took me time. Finally managed to get it flat on the carpet and left heavy weights on it to keep down. A few days later and it's absolutely fine. Heavy duty and does the job. Protects the carpet and is flat.
