Old fashioned bed pan. Better than a diaper if the person can lift themselves on it. We used a bead of mineral oil to assist in the slide. Not too much or your butt slides in or off too quick. Sturdy and can be sterilized.

I liked the bedpan because it is metal. I had problems trying to get it under my husband. I actually needed an extra person to position him on the bedpan

I was very disappointed with the inside edge of the pan, they seemed a little sharp. I was afraid they would cut a person. For that reason, I returned the item. The stainless steel seemed like a great idea except for that problem.

After trying several different plastic versions, I found that this heavy duty stainless steel bedpan is by far the better choice. Especially for a man or larger person. The plastic versions that I tried were small and collapsed under the weight. I also suggest using a bedpan liner which makes for super easy disposal.
