Get hands on GAN
Started this book a week back. Content looks promising and very interesting. Codes seem well detailed for someone who wants to be hands on.

A one-stop resource for generative AI across images & text
AI is rapidly advancing, that too at a pace that it is difficult to catch-up, especially, if one is a working professional or has limited time. This calls for a learning resource that is able to compress all the required information into a single entity that is easy to digest, easy to implement in real-world projects and is hands-on for the reader. This book by Raghav & Joseph falls right in that slot.I like the way in which the book is structured – broadly into 1. The basics of neural networks & GANs 2. Generating images 3. Generating text 4. Generating audio & 5. Misc. This book covers a range of topics across generating images & text including some of the latest techniques as of 2020.If you are just getting started with generative AI & are looking for a single resource that covers a majority of what you need to learn and apply at your work, look no further.

Okay overall
Good book, very bad print quality, not worth it's price

Badly written and unstructured !!
I don't know whether the publisher or authors do even read after what they write. Messy writing style, disconnected, very poor explanation. Just filling pages with big paragraphs and making it a 450+ pages book is not called an 'explanation' or 'teaching a subject'.What's the point of having a book that can't explain anything ? It's nothing but utter wastage of paper. I don't know why Packt keeps on promoting these contents. They don't want to publish sensible things but will continue printing junks.

A hands on guide for generative models
Liked the wide variety of applications of generative models they have covered. If you don't like too much theory and directly want to jump to applications then this is a great guide for you. Very well written code in tf 2.0 and easy to understand. Enjoying reading it! A little more in depth theory for some of the core topics like VAE and GAN would have made this book even more valuable!

Outstanding read
A very insightful read and a must read for people who wish to ace Generative AI with Python. Especially the findings were very helpful. I will for sure implement few in my upcoming projects. Great work and kudos to both the authors.
