Must be a knock off -- it doesn't work & buttons are stuck hard & won't push down
I've put in 3 different batteries thinking maybe that was the issue but no --it just DOES NOT work. I got the volume up button to react TWICE after pushing hard over a dozen times but that was it...hasn't worked at all other than that. Not even when I put the remote right up to the sound bar.When people's reviews say the buttons are hard to press--they literally are! It's like they're all stuck. Regardless, even when you do get them pressed down nothing works anyway.Battery doesn't fit properly and the battery door doesn't twist down properly either which is why everyone is tearing up the back of it trying to get to twist in.My original remote that came with the sound bar was NOT like this at all....which is why I ignored all the bad reviews here. This one looks just like the original so you'd think it would function just as well but it's definitely not the same and isn't worth the rare chance you MIGHT get one of the few good ones some people have apparently gotten.

Battery description
The description of this remote says it uses AAA batteries. However, it requires a button battery which was not included.

Sound bar remote replacement
I replaced batteries in my original remote and it didn’t do the trick. I order the replacement and got it the next day and we’re back in business.

No way to program it
No instructions on how to program the remote to the sound bar so it would not work. I tried to find something on the Samsung website but had no luck.
