The KEY-BAK SUPER48 Locking Retractable Keychain is a robust and practical tool for anyone looking to keep their keys organized and easily accessible. While it's a bit bulkier than a traditional keychain, its durability and functionality make it an excellent choice for daily or work-related use.

This is a must have for law enforcement officers. The keybak fits perfectly on my duty belt and has proved its durability over time. I personally use it to display my ID card for work, however I know of other officers that use it for their keys as well. Either way it is well worth the purchase.

Very strong and dependable

I work in law enforcement and use this to hold my RFID credentials to badge my way through doors and i use a second one to hold my handcuff key, shackle key, and CPR face shield mask. Both of these fit around a standard sized duty belt. They do fit somewhat loosely and slide around the belt unless kept in place with belt keepers. I have had no issues with the weight of the items dragging down the Kevlar rope and have had no issues with the rope fraying. The one I bought around 2 years ago has finally had the locking feature break off but that was to be expected in my line of work (involved in a fight when it broke). Even with the plastic locking part broken it still hold the full weight of my keys with absolutely no problem. I wanted to give it 4.75 stars due only to the locking piece breaking but other than that it's a superb piece of kit.

Works as expected but the belt loop is way to big. I don’t understand why. The loop will slide and hangs off the belt and can be a snag risk (get caught on something).Otherwise it works well and the tension is strong.Be careful

This product has good quality materials, design and assembly. I have no doubt that it will last a long while and retract a large number if keys as advertised (The spring that retracts the cable is quite strong). The locking feature that keeps keys in a fully retracted position is also useful/functional. However, I'd like to note the below for those who are interested to be informed.This retractor is about 2.5 steps up in strength and most important size from the flimsy and small ID badge retractors. The thing is ultra duty!Consequently, the retractor is pretty bulky. Seems like it is meant for law enforcement type belts that are very wide and thick. If you were to wear this item on a normal dress belt, it would not be a very stable connection. Although the connection would be very secure (can't come off the belt), the retractor wiggles around from all the extra room in the loop.Great quality product, but perhaps a little ultra duty to hold wigets for normal gear heads. I purchase the smaller clip on version and fell it is more appropriately sized and low profile for my intentions.

I bought this item in early 2017 and I am about to buy another. The faux ‘leather’ is peeling slightly but still works great!I work in a locked psych facility and beat the HELL out of key rings with a LOT of use.This keyholder was AMAZING! It locks so it can’t be pulled out until I unlock it, and all the moving parts continue to work PERFECTLY after FOUR YEARS of daily use
