As described I like the slide in panel.My old one I had to block with a wooden panel to keep my dog in overnight

Nice door flap
Bought for new composit back door. A bit bigger than last flap. Well made. Very quiet, we don’t hear the dogs coming in or out ( 2 Jack Russells)Time will tell about about how long it will last but impressed so far

Not too bad instructions, I bought this one as it had up to 70mm in adjustment. I needed way over a 100mm as I was going through a conservatory wall but it is a good base from which to start. Dog seems to like it and has no problems getting in & out. Dog is a Corgi cross about 15 Kg.

Not weather proof
Sturdy frame great that you can lock it with the insert, the clear flap has a gap around the edge of the frame (no amount of adjustments fix this issue) so cold air and wet can get in. If it’s very windy the magnet isn’t man enough to keep it in place. Disappointed as the frame quality is much better than the cheaper plastic options. Unable to return it as I paid a tradesman to fit while I was at work!! Frustrating to say the least.

Dog flap
This is a much better size for our German Shepherd than our previous flap but the only issue we have is the lock slides down the length of the opening but if your door like ours has a brace, half way it can't be locked. The door needs to be completely flat all fhe as down, it would be great if the manufacturer could work a way of fitting the lock slide a different way. Other than that easy to fit and looks good. Update, this has been in a couple of weeks now and never stays shut in a slight breeze or raining and it blows in so always making it cold and wet inside. Would not recommend.
