Bag is very high high quality and heavy duty bag. Love the size as well. Only watch out is the closures are not lock claps but actually functioning buckles which for me may be an issue vs just a thumb clasp due to convenience. This is not slam in the product or the seller. Just a watch out that the bag uses actual buckles which may be inconvenient for some .

The quality of this product is impeccable. It has a compartment in the back of the backpack for sensitive items such as money or identification. I am completely satisfied with this product and know that I will be enjoying this product for years to come because of the craftsmanship and quality of the leather. This is the third item from Komal that I have purchased and the satisfaction level can only be equated to the best piece of pie you have ever had or ever will have! The care this company takes with their product ensuring it is not harmed in transit to the customer is awesome. Each buckle is wrapped carefully so the leather is not damaged prior to delivery and they provide each customer with a note of appreciation. I am confident that I will be using KomalC products in the future because of quality and customer service.

The leather is very nice quality and very durable. The buckles are kind of a pain to get in and out of. Would like it better if they looked like buckles but snapped! Overall a great product for the price.

Spent a long time looking for a leather pack and finally found it. Wanted to wait a few months so could provide accurate review. Great quality love the zipper outside pocket as easily accessible but secure (wouldn’t put expensive or important items as too easy to pickpocket). Took a bit to “soften up” but is perfect now. I think it is a better pack than the $200-$300 ones I tried. I use daily and large as I wanted but not too large that looks silly for a daily bag. The only downside is there are definitely not enough holes in the straps. The straps are just too long. I’m a 5’8 female so not short. Had to go to tailor to have additional holes punched. Just a recommendation for the mfg So buy without hesitation:)

Bought this as an anniversary gift (leather on year 3 whoop whoop!) for my wife so she would have a little travel rucksack come future trips.What a beautiful bag! Out of the box it smells incredible and it's a little stiff from conditioning. To be expected. The stitching and inner canvas work look clean and durable. I also found the magnetic snap buckles on the side pockets and slide clip for the body of the bag to be convenient features without sacrificing the rustic aesthetic of the bag. Zipper pockets pack the same durability and attention to craftsmanship.I also enjoyed the printed letter enclosed within the bag thanking us for our purchase and providing care instructions to preserve its character along with longevity.Again very impressed with this bag! Looking forward to it character coming out as it travels with us!

I bought from this company before and I was very happy with the design and the quality. When I wanted a leather backpack, I searched only among Komal Passion products. I found this one and I excitedly waited for it to arrive. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. Given the great reviews from everyone else and my previous experience, I can only believe that either I got the one bad product they managed to produce, or it is a fake.It started with the packaging. The first bag I bought from them came carefully packaged, in a nice cloth bag, bubble wrap, handwritten note, paper labels, etc. Super impressive! I also got a leather notebook, which was also nicely packed. This one came in a flimsy plastic bag, nothing else. OK, fine...I am all for not wasting packaging material.Then the color. In the official pictures, as well as the ones from customers, it has some brown. Mine is completely charcoal gray, almost greenish. No brown whatsoever. Not a problem if what you wanted was a gray one, or if you were expecting a lot of variation in color, but I specifically wanted brown.Also, the side pockets are squished and mishappen, probably from poor storage. It does not look like they will get any better.Finally, finishing, especially on the pockets, looks rough, with little bits sticking out.Generally, it looks cheap, which truth be told, it kind of is. I might return it, which is not something I normally do. Also, return shipping is about $9.

This is a gorgeous product. I highly recommend any product from this crafts person in general, as I bought my fiancé a tote and it’s of the same quality. The hardware is sturdy, the leather is real and thick, and beautifully finished. This backpack is large enough for a laptop but is not overly bulky. I did find one mis-stitch but it will not affect the integrity of the bag. The liner is a thick canvas material and there are SO MANY pockets! This will be used as my new purse, but is plenty large enough for a school bag or a hiking bag. Great price too!
