Arrived Damaged / Missing Straps
I was looking fwd to the arrival of these lights. They literally were delivered 5 minutes ago. I opened the box and my excitement turned to disappointment very quickly.1. The Red light had the clip broken off and laying in the bottom of the plastic packaging tray.2. Neither light came with the strap used to attach the lights to the bicycle.On the positive side, they did turn on and function as described. Needless to say, they are going back tomorrow!I understand mistakes can and do happen. With that being said, I'm going to re-order, I will come back and update this review based upon the next delivery.UPDATE - Arespark reached out to me and immediately took care of the situation. Their customer service has taken my original 1 star rating to a 5 star rating. Hey I work in manufacturing and know mistakes can happen, its what a person/company does once they realize the mistake was made that counts. They were great!Now for the light. Works great has good visibility and I look fwd. to my early morning rides. Do I recommend this product..... Absolutely YES.

Good for being seen
The clip on the back is convenient for attaching to a seat bag, and the rubber strap ensures there's always a way to attach them to some part of the bike. Two solid modes that I don't use and two flashing modes - one is a slow strobe about 60:40 on:off and one is a faster-paced strobe for catching attention. I usually run the rear light on slow strobe so it's sufficiently attention-getting while also being easy to judge distance, and I use the front light on fast strobe for catching attention. The front light is better as an attention-getter than for lighting the way because it doesn't have a focused beam, so it's worth getting a fancier dedicated headlight for illuminating dark roads/paths. Love having USB-rechargeable lights with built-in batteries though. They last at least 2 hours on the settings mentioned (haven't tried running them to depletion) and charge reasonably quickly with a little LED indicator inside the light to determine when charging is complete. Charging port cover seems sufficiently splashproof for normal riding.

Fantastic Bike Light Set
I am an avid cyclist who averages 100 miles per week of bicycling, and these lights are excellent! They are very bright and have different functions and flash modes. I love them so much that I when I lost one, I ordered another set.Unfortunately, just out of the return time, the rear bike light stopped accepting the charging cable. It's a bit of a design flaw that it's difficult to put the cable in straight, but when I reached out to Arespark, I was impressed with their customer service. In fact, I value excellent customer service over excellent products, because when things go wrong, you need people who care and want to make things right. Because they made things right and my new set seems as good as my first set, I went ahead and ordered my 4th set of these fantastic bike lights! For the price, they are especially amazing.I like that I can easily clip the rear light onto my saddle bag then take it off to recharge it. The lights are very bright and last for a two to three 4-hour rides, so 8-12 hours between charges. It's a great light set, and I highly recommend it!

Why the rating of this product is so high
I think I should share my experience about this product and Arespark Team.First, I believe it's a decent product (while it works). It's quite bright, compact; it has several useful modes and it can hold charge pretty long. It had little issues from the first day (its Charge Indicator Light did not work properly), but it was not a serious problem for me.It all was true for a few months (I haven't often used it, maybe a dozen times in total, never under rain), but recently I found out that the battery did not hold a charge. To check it I charged it completely, it worked, but next morning it was absolutely dead. To understand what happened I unscrewed 4 screws (actually 8 because I disassembled both lights to compare batteries) and saw that the bad battery looked like a pillow - much thicker than the good one. (I'll try to attach some photos here).I wrote an email to Arespark, explained the problem (with photo) and received their answer (this is the direct quotation): "Hi Vlad,We would like to send you a new light set if you can post a five stars for our service.Hope you can understand and help.Please confirm the address below..."It was not what I hoped for. I wanted to let them know there is a problem with quality of their product,that they IMHO should look for the way to improve it...One more email where I wrote in particular I would post a fair review with detailed story about my all experience with this product.Reply was:"Sorry for the mistake i make. It was not me to contact you before......Can you please tell me if the light you receive can hold a charge ? If not, we will send you a new one until it works.We promise that you will receive a well-condition light set."Ok, I wrote another email (with detailed explanation) and got the answer:"Firstly we would like to thanks for your feedback with details.It is a defective battery when we show the picture to our QC staff and now we are under negotiating with the factory.We seriously inform them that they should explain how this happend and what they will do to avoid this and they will respond within 24 hours.Will update you more information when we have a good solution."It's all. It was more than two weeks ago, and I haven't received any updates, replacement or "more information".I am not going to continue this communication: I made up my mind about this company.As you can see, English is not my native language. It was not easy for me to write this review. I am sorry I am not good enough to make it shorter. I was really hesitating about publishing parts of private emails here, I understand it's not good, but I tried all my best to provide unbiased information about my experience.I hope it helps future customers realize what they should expect from this company and how they can believe in so high rating of this product.Update 9/22:I have to add I've received the full refund, so I am upgrading my rating from 1 star to 3 stars.
