I'm happy with this seat. I got it to replace another padded seat I got on Amazon which was too hard to sit on for hours and hours and had thinner padding. This one has thick padding and is fairly comfortable, but the padding is actually a little on the firm side. I think this will probably soften a little over time and will probably be just fine but, for now, it does get a little hard after a couple of hours fishing and I have to stand up for a little break once in a while. The construction is good and overall a very solid product.
