I was getting a lot of hum on my Rode Videomic Go microphone (a known problem which they dont seem bothered to fix) I bought a good quality shield cable to use on-camera which help eliminate the hum by 95%. However that brand didn't have a long enough length for me to use mic on a boom pole, so I went for this one, The double shielding really works well and I am very pleased with it. The combination of a boom pole plus this cable now enable me to get good clear recordings. The cable seems strong and looks like it will last a long time.So to sum up - when sound quality is an issue its worth paying out extra to get a quality product rather than an el-cheapo one. THis certainly has worked great for me,

Bought this to connect ear cans to my oculus Quest. Connection in the quest is loose like the plug is too small. It just doesn’t hold and therefore no sound. Also took a long time to arrive.

Sound quality very good. Cable durability not great, 5 months and its crackling, and I look after my cables.

Did exactly what I needed (to connect headphones to phone) and looked sturdier than my previous cables, but stopped working in a matter of weeks. Very disappointing.

Did exactly what it said on the tin.

My previous cable was behaving erratically - intermittent fading etc. This is much more solid. My only quibble is the fact that the fittings into the headphones and TV are a little loose.
