Q: What is the height of the main/large shelf, and the dimensions of the very bottom shelf? i'm hoping to fit my desktop pc tower there (46cm l x 19cm w)

Bottom shelf is 20cm (back to front) and 70cm wide. The measurement from the bottom shelf to the back stability piece is 39cm.

Q: Could someone tell me the max capacity of the top shelf?

Hi its 70 x20cm, can fit a desk holder and monitor on it- fair size and neat desk. really is easy to assemble

Q: Is it safe to remove both bottom boards by the feet and the diagonal board just under the main table top or are they there for stability or something?

Think it will fall apart if you do this,holds it all together

Q: description says "height adjustable" but reviews say it has a fixed height? can we confirm how much height from floor to main desk can be increased?

As far as I know, the height is fixed but I'm a 70 year old non-technical female pensioner who assembled the desk myself during the first Covid lockdown. That should be testament enough to prove that assembly itself is reasonable!
