Exasinine Vintage Antique Lock Old Chinese Lock Retro Padlock for Jewelry Box Wooden Suitcase Drawer Home Décor (Fish Style)

I bought this to go with a decorative chain to simulate a lock on my Japanese doors for the liquor closet. It blends well with the decor and everyone comments on it. The "key" lost one of it's tabs too easily but for what I use it for it's not an issue.

Wanted to replace old locks that wore out on my mothers old curio cabinets that I have. These are almost identical to the old ones, newer, but still older looking. Delivered in 2 days, perfect!

Arrived one day late. No instructions. Able to unlatch the lock but only opened slightly (2 mm) to be exact). The item itself is heavy and well make. The mechanism however failed. Really bummed about this.

The quality of this is terrible. It's extremely difficult to unlock, got stuck when I tried it, and has a jagged piece of metal sticking out of the key opening. I'm definitely returning this.

It is now permanently locked onto my Grandson’s First Communion Treasure Box? It is beautiful, unlocked easily, but once the fish was latched, forget unlocking it.I WD 40’d it, and will have to cut it off!Not a reliable lock, or rather... unlock?
