They are easy to remove from and return to the box and keep clean. Very useful, and just the right size and thickness, I would definitely purchase this set of slides again; five stars from me.

great quality. can def view them easily on the microscope. the container does feel a bit rough though, coz if the super tight fit, when i get the slides but good enough. I'm just scared i might scratch them while pulling them out

They come in a nice case, good quality, small enough to fit in the microscope carrying case, great educational value.

While the wooden box is nice and the samples themselves are good, my slides were dirty. Most slides have specs of dark dirt all over them. I only handled the slides by touching the far outer edges, yet almost all of them have someone else's fingerprints all over them, a few even on the sample viewing area. The dirt specks are easy enough to clean off, but it's a shame whoever made the slides did not simply wear vinyl gloves or some such. Or maybe me particular box was returned to Amazon and resold, not sure.
