Xbox Wireless Adapter for PC & Controller - Compatible with Xbox One, One X|S, Elite, Series X|S

I bought this after buying and using an 8bitdo adapter, to find out that either the 8bitdo unit was dead, or wouldn't work for Xbox Elite Series 1 controllers.This adapter DOES Xbox Elite Series 1 controllers and the Series S|X controller, and every other Xbox One or Series X controller. Xbox 360 controller was not tested however. Works perfectly. Plug in, hear the device detected sound, press the pairing button, and paired the controllers successfully every time. Love it.

Works perfectly on Windows 11, and set up is extremely simple.Just plug it in, turn the controller you want to use on, and push the pairing button on the controller as well as the button on the end of the USB while it's plugged into your computer. It'll connect to your Xbox controller within a second or two and you'll be ready to game.

I own two of these, one for an original Xbox One controller, which it works great with, and a second, which was purchased for my wife to use. It worked fine with the Xbox Series X controller at first, but after a few weeks, it no longer turns on or attempts to sync with any controller. We've tried different computers and USB ports, but nothing works. It just died.

Although it does what it's advertised to do, there are brief periods where the connection seems interrupted. Sometimes unplugging and replugging the device fixes it, but more often I am restarting my entire PC. Because I haven't been able to determine if this is a PC problem or an adapter problem, I'm giving it 4 stars with the benefit of the doubt.

I think mine arrived messed up? I saw the xbox adapter install but the light on the usb never turns on or flashes when im trying to pair..? What am i missing?

First time pairing it wouldn’t take the controller but paired with my Xbox headset perfectly. Unplugged, messed around with the controller, then I paired. Been perfect since. I was having some issues over Bluetooth before buying it but absolutely loving it now. As soon as I turn on headset or controller the little light turns on immediately and I’m off and gaming.For the price, great buy given you can’t get the actual Microsoft ones any more.

I originally thought this didn't work with Windows 11 but my problem was I was trying to use a Rockband 4 Jaguar guitar controller and that specific model of controller requires a manual firmware update, which is actually way easier to do than it sounds. After that, I was able to use it perfectly!
