What is the difference between this and the sphero sprk?

Hello, The Sphero SPRK Edition includes the same sensors and electronics as Sphero 2.0 but unlike the white shell, the clear polycarbonate material brings you closer to the robotic action you can see thru the sphere and all the components. You can immediately see the connection between the program you created and how the guts of your Sphero work and react.The in-box accessories also differ. Sphero 2.0 comes with ramps and SPRK Edition includes a genius kit to help you get creative.

Which sphero products can auto roam on their own, if any?

Not to my knowledge. My kids use the sphero and love it, but they control it with an iPad or their phone.

Does with work with Android phone or only Apple?
