The wooden gavel and block set has been a fantastic addition to our family dynamics. Whenever our kids have an argument, we hold a family court session, and this set adds a sense of formality and fairness to the process. The gavel is well-crafted, sturdy, and feels great in hand, while the block has a solid weight that makes a satisfying sound when struck.

So here's the story Amazon folks, I have a little brother that's in high school and he's totally been off into court shows, learning about the law etc. So one day I came over my parents house to visit and I noticed that my little brother had made himself a gavel. That's when the light bulb upstairs came on. I decided to look on good old Amazon for a gavel AND block set. Its definitely worth noting that this set is very durable, it doesn't feel cheaply made at all.I decided to gift it to him on a random day so that he could really be suprised afterall he had mentioned a few times that he wished he had an actual one so I took it upon myself to make it happen for my little brother.Well that random day came and after a conversation we were having I was like "oh by the way, I have a suprise for you." His little eyes lit up, he said okay with the biggest little handsome smile of his face. I presented him with the gift and from there Amazon folks let's just say I was one happy big sister. He gave me a hug and before the day was over he must have hit his gavel and block more than 15 times. I enjoyed it. My parents just smiled and shook their heads and my little sister laughed.All in all I must say this gavel and block set gets 5 stars from me because it made my little brother happy.

Great item I purchased. I serve as a mock judge and it is like the real deal when I operate as the mock judge.

Court

I have this on my desk at school. I teach law studies and we use the gavel for our mock trials or just when I want to get their attention. It’s a fun prop for class and and some authenticity to the trial process. The kids love banging on when they’re the judge.

Used this in my speech class when I taught parlimentary procedure. It survived 9th graders who enjoyed "calling the meeting to order". I would buy again, but so far - no need. It is still in great shape.

We use it a meeting which meets three times a week. It probably gets scaffold about one time each meeting.
