So Truly Real Olivia's Gentle Touch Lifelike Baby Girl Doll by Linda Murray

I was nervous after reading the other review but this was the doll my niece wanted for her birthday. I had it delivered to me first so I could make sure it was up to her expectations. I have to say, this is a beautiful doll and looks so lifelike! I've included two photos of her (I had to leave the packaging as is since I'm sending it on as a gift). When I opened the box and the paper cover and saw her little face, I knew my niece would love her! She feels real and soft and quite sturdy; there is fine attention to all the little details. I recommend this doll either as a toy or collector's item (though I've always been one for playing with stuff rather than collecting)!Update 10/25/2013: My niece loves the doll! It was everything she had hopped for and I'm very pleased with the manufacturer, quality and service!

She is very realistic. I bought it to lift Mom's spirits as she has mid-late stage dementia. My siblings and I got it for her on Valentines day. Amazing how Mom perked up She was holding that doll and singing to her when I left town for 10 days, and she was holding her and singing when I got back.She even "feels" real. Healthcare staff say she smells real.Thank you for giving Mom reason to sing!

I love her she has blue eyes which is my favorite thing about her.She is soooooooooooooooooo CUTE! She is so soft and cute she has a lot of hair but its adorable! some people say she has brown eyes but when i got her she had blue eyes and she feels like a real baby and if i were you and you really really want her i would get her.

Very disappointed in the doll ... not realistic looking at all

She is a very beautiful doll! Nicely weighted. Her face didn't seem to have the sweet peachy coloring shown, but I found that good lighting and dressing her in bright colors really brings out her skin and blue eyes. She does very subtly grasp your finger.I am taking off a star because of the hair. I'm being extremely careful not to mess it up, but it's kinda on the verge of looking unkempt already. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with the quality and detail in this doll, she is so adorable.

My daughter absolutely loves this doll and carries her around all the time. I did have to return the first one immediately after Christmas, because she came with a rip in her shoulder. Return was easy and the replacement shipment was quick. My complaints about the doll, is that she barely moves her fingers and the hair is a mess. We keep a hat on her at all times because it looks like a rats nest. And the battery is off all the time for the hand movement. While the doll is cute and looks life like, she does not look like the picture above. Despite those few things my daughter loves her to pieces and wants another So Truly Reall doll for next Christmas.

The baby is super cute! Her hair is a little darker than what the pic shows, but with that being said, everything else was perfect! She even smelled like a real baby. I'm absolutely positive that my daughter with love her!!! Delivery was very prompt and came before the expected date.

After reading some of the review I was skeptical but this doll is exactly like the pic. I'm very happy with what it looks like and feels. It's for my niece for Christmas so I'll have to update on her reaction.
