To start with I bought a cheaper smaller one but as soon as I unpacked it wasn't happy so sent it back and got thisI'm so happy with this one much more sturdy looks better and wow I noticed a difference within a couple of hours my eyes weren't watering and I'd stopped sneezing (Hay-fever) I was so impressed the next day I bought another oneI now have one in my living room and one in my bedroom and since having these I'm sleeping much better not waking up and hardly having to reach for my hay-fever spray If you suffer from hay-fever / allergys this is an absolute must

I suffer from hayfever around this time of year. After reading another review on this item about hayfever I thought I’d give it a try rather than spending £85 on a more expensive one. I got it and the build quality isn’t great. It’s what you’d expect at £40. I noticed no difference at all to hayfever or symptoms but did notice my throat was getting more dry and I was coughing a lot more. I don’t know why because it’s not a dehumidifier and the air in the room was at normal humidity levels as I checked.I decided to buy a Levoit Core 300 to compare and it’s honestly just better in every way. I’m glad I payed the extra and bought it. I returned this one shortly after receiving the Levoit. Airflow is really poor on this one, setting 3 was just about as strong as setting 1 on the Levoit. Noise levels are also noticeably louder on the lowest two modes with this one compared to the Levoit.The Levoit seems to make a much larger difference, no sneezing, runny nose or anything like that. The build quality is tonnes better too. No coughing either! Not sure why I had such a bad experience with this but if at all possible I suggest you buy a better one. I only say Levoit because I now love the one I bought and I’ll be sticking with it and that brand for the future. It’s a proper brand and it’s been tested to work, also has thousands more reviews which say the same.I did write up a full review of it on the Amazon page for the Levoit Core 300 so if your interested you can read that one as well as the thousands of others on there.They do have an easy and solid returns policy so you can always try it for yourself and send it back if you have the same issues or if it works for you then great! Just remember to keep the box and decide within 30 days!
