They fixed the problem with our order
I'd like this for 5 stars if it came with all the colors! They sent us 2 packages of black mosaic pieces and none of the blue ones. We really, really need to get our blue pieces. Our grandson loves mosaics and this seemed a natural for him to do more and he's very excited about it--but it's super disappointing without the blue blocks to create the designs. The board is plastic but seems pretty well-made and the pieces seem machined well to fit into the spaces--even the diagonal ones, which I had worried might be a limiting factor. Update! They sent us the colored pieces we needed--all the way from China! Thanks for listening to us and fixing this! It took a couple of weeks, but our grandson is able to play with this new, favorite toy! Now I like this for 5 stars.

Missing A LOT of pieces
I am extremely PO for this stupid puzzle. My 4 year old started the jockey and already have noticed we are short atleast 12 red triangles. We can't even complete the bottomOf the horse! This company needs to be contacted and buyers need to be given the full set to complete all the designs they include with the puzzle! It's opened and my son enjoys it so I'm on the fence if I should just return the whole thing! Completely defeats the purpose.

Such a great creative outlet for little ones. Make sure they put all the pieces away, the hurt when stepped on! I love this for my kids!

Surprising hit with my kids
Such a simple concept, but my kids really liked it. It's not the most quality toy by any means, but it tept them engaged for a long time, and my 5 year old likes to do his own designs. I think it fosters createivity. I just wish it came with something to put all the pieces in. We use a tupperware.

Great tool for teaching kids or having fun.. If you want to make the pictures they use as examples, buy 2
I was excited to get this for my two young girls. Our purpose with it was to be fine motor coordination, teamwork and following map (using the grid to figure out where to place each peg.)The coordination and teamwork objectives are easily met. However, this product does not come with the necessary pieces to complete each picture, which led to some disappointment and frustration. The insert shows you a grid of where to place each peg, but you would need to buy two boxes of these to have enough triangular pegs. It was an impromptu lesson in problem solving and we dwarfed down some of the designs to make it work.Each peg is about a quarter inch wide. The top is solid and the bottom is hollow. The hollow part is not large enough for little toddlers to get their fingers stuck inside.I may buy a second set just to have enough triangles (and another peg board so my girls don't have to share would be a bonus). But I'm rating this product low for the fact that I shouldn't have to buy two to do what the box tells me I should be able to. But I can see this being a great manipulative when we work on patterns and other math topics

Granddaughters favorite gift!
My 4 year old granddaughter loves using this mosaic tile set. The tray is very sturdy and the pieces are the perfect size. I did follow the recommendations of other reviewers and ordered 2 sets. She now has plenty of tiles to create all the designs!

Not enough squares
The grandkids love this toy, but the first picture they wanted to do was the horse. Sadly, we found there wasn't enough cubes to finish it. Close, but no cigar.... Thus four stars.It still was fun so I kept it, but really, what was the company thinking?
